Looking for gift for roofer husband who just got licensed. Is this a good tool for a roofer?

I got this for my husband and he tells me every time he uses it how much he loves it. It does everything that he needs. One of the best gifts ever. I use it a lot myself, so hope he will get me one soon.

I have a older version...maybe 5 yrs? Is this one more advanced?

There have been no significant changes to the Calculated Industries 4065 Construction Master Pro Advanced Construction Math Feet-inch-Fraction Calculator in the last 5 years other than the addition of the Armadillo Gear as standard. If you have one that is no longer working, you can send it in for repair.

Does the CI 4065 pro delivered have an orange back or black back?

the calculator it's self has a black back, i got mine with the armadillo gear cover and the main body including the back is orange but the flip cover face is a dark graykevin
