These vacuum cubes are MASSIVE. I bought these for winter comforters but I should have gotten the next size down. Each bag comes up to my waist and easily fit two queen size comforters without any compression. I also stuffed 4-5 pillows in one and had room to spare. The vacuum vent works very well. I did not need to use a vacuum machine, pushing out the majority of the air while zipping up the bag and then using the hand pump was sufficient. I do LOVE the flat, cube bottom. I've used the flat bags in the past and I hated them. The cube bottom stays open as you're filling it, and the seams let you know exactly when to stop filling it. And then you can push all the air out straight down, so everything sore or less stays in order and the cube stays standing and you can just push it until a shelf.

The product seems durable and can withstand weight and pressure however 1 of the 3 bags slightly tore where the vacuum hose was. I didn't have luck using the pump nor patience =P so a vacuum is highly recommended. Sealed it in about 20 seconds . Again, not sure if it was my packaging or sealing it a specific way But hope the other two can withstand pressure.

As soon as I received these bags I put a queen comforter in one to make some space in my closet. Got the air sucked out quickly with my Dyson’s hose. Worked great, compressed really well after making sure the seal zipper was tight. Looked good! By morning I checked in my closet and the quilt was all puffed up in a non seal tight bag. I didn’t even try the other bags. Returned for refund. So much for trying to organize making room in my closet. I do not recommend. I now see this item listed as an often returned item. I’m not the only one whose bag leaked.

I highly recommend spending a bit more on a better quality product. I bought these last year to store some winter clothes and switch them out with my summer stuff this year only for them to rip when pulling them back out of the closet. They’re not even filled halfway and two of them ripped right down the middle of the bag. I do not recommend.
