This is what I had been looking for in a can opener
I've tried a bunch of can openers trying to find a good one... this one fits the bill so far. When it arrived I brought our expensive name brand can opener we've had for a few years along with this new one to the wife and asked her to open a can... with the expensive name brand one she couldn't even get it to puncture. This one popped right through the lid and she was amazed with how easily the handle turned. This is so nice that I just bought two more, one of which is being gifted to my 70+ year old mother who has likewise been unable to find a good can opener. Heartily recommend!

Great buy
The can opener is a breeze to use , no stiffness and the turning handle is a really decent size. I like the quality and am ordering another to have on hand in case this one gets lost

Awaking from the stone age!
I have to admit I had been struggling with my old rusty plastic handled Kitchenaid can opener for a few years. After trying it at every angle with the can popping in and falling out of the opener, I tried using WD-40 and ended up with just the rusty spike wheel turning against the rusty smooth wheel and not gripping the can...I gave up and bought this one. I thought...basic, old school, cheap. Well, it's GREAT! Works smooth, like magic! Easy turn and no problem with the huge cans of jalapeno peppers! Highly recommend this for a basic, good can opener.

Best I've ever owned!
This is at least the third time I buy one of these. I have one at home and if I'm at a friend's and I see them struggling with a cheap can opener, I whip out my phone and have one of these delivered to them. I've had mine for years with no problems.

Best can opener I have found in 20 years
This can opener is outstanding. The last three brands I have purchased were horrible. This opener opens cans effortlessly. Sturdy , sharp and made in the USA! Throw all your old openers out and get one of these. I loved it so much I got one for my vacation home. Get one of these, I promise you will not regret it.

Bought a second one
This thing is a tank. I feel so lucky to be able to buy just about anything right now that is not only made in the USA but made solid. Wow, I feel like I understand what my dad talks about now when he says 'they don't make them like they used to.' Well they make some things such as this can opener, like they used to. I was pretty impressed so I bought a second one. So far been using the first one for maybe a year? No wear whatsoever. I love it.

Made like a tank!
Finally! A can opener that feels like it might last for a while!!!! Just picking this up, you can feel that it is made well (Made in the USA). I'm tired of throwing can openers away what seems like twice a year. I have high hopes for this one. It just feels right, and it comes with a warranty....

Yup, there are some relatively-sharp edgas but not where you would normally put your hands unless you are cleaning it without looking (such as under soap bubbles). Not the ol' Swing-Away but it does cut cleanly.Wish the Swiss hadn't defected to Asia; loved being able to reuse the can lid without hurting my hands, especially while tent camping...
