I have been using the Soma Plant-Based Replacement Filters for my Soma water pitcher, and I am delighted to give them a well-deserved 5-star rating. These filters have become an essential part of my water purification routine, providing me with pure and refreshing water that I can trust. These last a long time and are so worthwhile. They use a charcoal filter. Even though it's harmless, it doesn't release any excess charcoal powder if you soak the filter in the bag for the first 15 minutes before using. This does create some excess packaging waste, however. These make the tap water safer and it tastes much better too. On another note, they filter water through quite fast.

It's rare that I care about/review a kitchen product, but this caught me off guard. What is it you care about? Aesthetics? Sustainability? Convenience? Health? These little guys have it all. This is the best water filter pitcher and I've tried them all (meaning at least 4). I know this is a review about the filters, but they are the engine that runs the whole Soma product. The filters clean up all the bad stuff in the water with a quick drip (that matters when you just got back from a run and can't bring yourself to pollute your body with sink water), the whole pitcher looks good enough to put on your table (no more being embarrassed by a pitcher that rhymes with critta), the ingenious refill hole/system saves you time and fumbling, and the whole company runs with a heart that cares about people and our environment (coconut carbon in a plant based filter). If you don't want to ditch your pitcher and buy a Soma you're not fit to make adult decisions.

These water filters are so easy to install

Soma is the best water filter I have used. I can really tell the difference in the taste of my water.

I honestly love my Soma water pitcher. I did a lot of research before buying this pitcher along with the water filters. The filter is made of coconut shell carbon with a plant-based casing and it filters out the yucky stuff like mercury, copper, zinc and chlorine. Tastes good. This is the only filter out there that’s compostable which I love. Because the design is so pretty- I don’t hide it away like I used to do with my Brita.. which is actually making me drink more water ☺ Great company.. actively involved with charity water which led me to buy one of their pretty water bottles too (see pic).

I love these filters. Got it for a good price. I wish they last longer than two months but I love my Soma pitcher!

Love this product but the filter is out of stock; does anyone know how to find out when it will be available? I don’t want to have to buy a new jug just to replace the filter!
