I bought these to use with DAB+ portable digital radio in place of Apple ear buds which would not work when fully inserted into 3.5mm socket (radio uses 3-pole socket ie not 4-pole as used by iPhone). I use the Sony ear-phones at night so comfort and sound leakage are important factors. Comfort is very good. I often wake up in morning with the earphones still inserted. Sound quality in terms of frequency and dynamic range is surprisingly good for the price. The bass is not as well developed as my Bose ear buds but quite acceptable.

This earphones are simply amazing. I couldn't find a similar one of this on-ear type earphones. Sound quality is amazing and the audio will fell like its coming from a wide area rather than from a smaller tight area which means it will sound like its coming from a audio system, highs are good and lows are even better and haven't faced any kind of distortion in high volume. There is one small issue with this product and that is it won't produce good lows out of the box. It can but it won't. A little bit of tweaking is necessary in order to gain bass. I use Spotify and MusixMatch and it satisfy all my needs. I recommend using MusixMatch app to get the best out this amazing earphones.(Honest review after one year.)
