LCZTN UPF 50+ Sun Protection Cap Wide Brim Fishing Hat with Face & Neck Flap

It saved me during a fishing trip at high altitude in thin air and bright sun. Very comfortable and kept the sun AND bugs off of me so I could concentrate on trout. Good product.

Just received this hat today. Inserted the 4 small hooks of the back into the buckles of the hat. The mask also has 2 hooks that attach to 2 buckles. Everything fit just fine. I snapped the buttons of the mask together to see how it all looks and then attempted to unsnap them apart. Unfortunately one of the buttons came apart and tore a hole (see picture). I was really hoping this hat would work. I also purchased a very similar hat from another company to compare them. I'm glad I did.PROS: fits well, looks decent, the tightness of the mask around my face was good which I liked a lot. The price.CONS: the hooks and buckles should be buttons that make it easier to pop on and off (too cumbersome to unhook the buckles when you want just the hat), the button of the mask came apart and created a hole, the back flap seemed a tad short, but it did cover my neck.UPDATE AS OF 12/16/19 - The company reached out to me and offered to send me 2 new hats (khaki and green) to try out since the original item I purchased seemed to be flawed. I tested the product and as you can see from the pictures, are able to see how it looks. The issue with the snap on buttons around the mask did not rip as it did before. I liked the draw string at the top of the hat which allowed me to tighten around the top of my head to fit perfectly. The customer service was excellent and after receiving this item again, I would recommend this purchase!

Helps keep the sun off my head while working in the garden one size fits all a little awkward but does the job.

The fact this hat fits my big head (right @ 24" diameter) comfortably is reason enough for 5 stars. The hat is light weight and the mesh allows the breeze to come through. I can't attest to the SPF rating but I can tell you that I have not been sun-burned on my head or face while wearing it so that says something. I have used the back flap and it works well, just took some getting used to. Haven't tried the face flap, no real need yet. I know it snaps on and fits though. The chin strap works well, hat has not blown off. I use it primarily for mowing (riding and pushing) but have also used it on leisurely bike rides around the neighborhood and it has stayed on. The only gripe, and it is purely superficial, is that the opening for your head is not exactly on the same axis at the brim. The hole is slightly rotated a few degrees off from the brim. Does not effect the functionality at all, just my OCD. So far the hat appears fairly durable but only time will tell.

I work in this every day and wash it in the machine. Good quality of this item.

Great hat at a great price. Husband used it for a brutal 3-day hiking trip (he has a love/hate relationship for the sun in Hawaii) and usually the back of his neck is burned to a crisp and this saved him. You can see there is great ventilation at the top and there are gaps when you snap the back covering on which he liked as it helped with not overheating. The color was nice too as dirt isn’t so noticeable, especially when you’re constantly adjusting it along a hike, setting it down when you take a water break, etc. We also bought a similar hat that cost 4x as much as this for running and he didn’t notice a difference in comfort or protection (so this was a great buy). We haven’t really used the front covering but at this price, even if we never use it, we’d still be satisfied with our purchase.

TLDR; my box was incomplete. Nice hat for casual use.Well for starters, a very nice hat for the price. i have a massive head and it just fits on. It's wider than expected, so that's nice.My concern is that my hat was incomplete. The face shield was missing from my box. One of the hooks for the side guards also broke off, although it was used error. It just seems if you wanted to use this in a wilderness setting it would need to be quite a bit sturdier.I would give it 5 stars, I really want to. I just can't when I'm only receiving 2/3's of my purchase. That's why it's disappointing.

I drive for this little online store you've probably never heard of... Amazon. I bought this hat since I am delivering in 90-105 degree temps with no clouds. I have a kinda big head so the hat is a tiny bit tight and hurts the tops of my ears if I don't adjust it. The face mask works amazing and with the current covid outbreak I can use it as a face mask to go shopping. I wouldn't recommend wearing it into a bank though...trust me (delivered to a bank and they wouldn't let me in with it on....I don't know why). The fabric is breathable enough you can wear sunglasses with it and they won't fog up unless you start breathing really heavy while working out or something. The neck cover and face mask are held on by these little plastic clips and with my wearing the hat 50-60 hours a week in a delivery van running around all day, the clips haven't broken yet. But it would be nicer if they were made of like metal or something and the clip was a little bigger to hold onto the hat better. I don't use the lanyard because the hat stays on pretty good even when I have the windows rolled down on the freeway.One thing that could use improving is the facemask fabric is super loose and unless you tuck it under your glasses you can't get it to stay very high up on your face.-A Very Happy Amazon Driver
