Sunshade for the Nikon D-7100
I had a Hoodman on an older camera and liked it, though it didn't last long. The inner spring quit. When I upgraded my camera I checked for a new one but I couldn't find one for my d-7100. Then I saw this one.First impressions is that this one isn't as durable as the hoodman. The hoodman attached to the view finder and the LCD screen. This one only attaches to the view finder. The plastic doesn't seem strong enough so when I pop open the hood, it feels like I could break the plastic. It doesn't have the professional feel as the hoodman. It blocks out any glare that you might get on your LCD. This one cost much less than the name brand but this has a feature the hoodman didn't have. The hood on this one detaches with a simple slide. This comes in handy when I'm reviewing after every shot, which I don't usually. The only bad thing about this feature is that maybe it detaches just a little too easy. Time will tell. I may just lose the thing while my camera hangs off my shoulder.Manipulating the buttons around the LCD screen feels a little awkward, but not undo able. I haven't gone out shooting with it yet because of this pandemic and I think I've shot just about everything close to home.Bottom line is that this is good for the average shooter or the shooter that uses live view.To make this a 5-star it would need to be made of stronger plastic or at least attach to the camera at more places than just the view finder.

Really makes LCD screen easy to see in bright sunlight
I had my D800 converted to Infra-Red. Because IR focuses a little differently, I usually focus manually with the live-view screen. It's really hard to see the LCD screen in daylight. This sunscreen completely eliminated the problem. It's easy to install - just remove your clear plastic LCD screen protector, and replace it with the sunscreen - it snaps into place in the same slots the screen protector uses. It folds flat, so just pull up from the bottom and it locks into the open position. To close, just push the two side pieces inward and fold the cover closed. It's made of plastic with spring loaded hinges, but seems pretty sturdy. I would recommend that you fold it up whenever it's not in use - it wouldn't take much to bend or break the side 'wings' if you caught it on something.

Can be customized for Canon EOS M6 Mark II
I removed the clear protective material so I could still use my touch screen Used 1/8 double sided tape to secure it to my flip monitor. I do a lot of low level shooting outdoor and use the touch shutter so this is a great solution. Not sure why another reviewer gave negative marks for construction. Mine is sturdy and I can slide the folding part off when I am not using it and the frame stays connected.

Works As Advertised
When working with your camera outside, the monitor screen is sometimes really hard to see. So someone invented screen hoods. They work, but either they leave a sticky mess on your camera when removed, or else they can't be easily removed. The Nikon D810 camera comes with a clear plastic screen protector. The STSEETOP Sun Shade goes in the same grooves that are used for the Nikon screen protector. Voila! A screen protector AND a screen hood in one easily-removed product. It's a sunshade when you need it, and a screen protector full time. What's not to like?

A little stubborn, but it gets looser with use
This snapped on my Nikon D7500 with ease, well sort of. The side "shades" we a bit stiff but loosened up with use. I haven't used it yet outdoors, but I'm hoping the manual focusing for video will be greatly improved. Excellent little product and shipping was sooner than expected.

Does the job but...
If you are outdoors and want to view your LCD viewfinder this product does the job. However if you are an active shooter closing and opening the shade it will fall off. Does not brake but not a very secured LCD hood.

Lightweight but inexpensive & functional
If you shoot viseo with your digital SLR, this shade works very well. Always have trouble seeing the LCD screen in the sunlight and this shade goes a long way to making it visible. Clips could be a little sturdier, but they are functional and are made to keep the weight down. With todays’s SLR’s that can be very important after you’ve lugged the thing around for a few hours.

Handy gear
I bought one of these a while back for a D750 and it worked great. I got this size for a new D850’s and again they work amazing. They are made to shade the screen but I find them extremely useful for night photography when I don’t want light from the LCD screen to bother other folks
