I got it in purple for my female 1 1/2 year old 70 lb pitbull. I love the color looks amazing on her blond fur and we get lots of complements when out and about or at the dog park. Its a wonderful darker purple not a super annoyingly bright purple. Which is perfect as i wanted to say she is a girl without the color screaming it at people like pink would (i hate pink anyway so i gladly bought purple) lol. Before she got the purple harness and upgraded to her adult collar which is purple too and also probably due to being a pitbull for some odd reason she was always assumed to be a boy dog. Everyone always said he is handsome or he is a good boy without asking for the gender or simply taking a peek below before speaking to me. So now this perfect dark purple harness has anyone who speaks to me about her using the correct pronoun. I have the exact same problem with my male malipoo he is always assumed to be a girl dog due to being a small fluffy white dog however for him he is cursed with being missed gendered despite wearing blue harnesses, collars and having a big blue tag that reads Maxwell! So i'm happy the color gets the point across.Anyway............. I love the metal ring features makes me feel like its more secure and looks very nice and pretty also. The buckles have these locks i always use to help make sure if she pulls or jerks it wont snap open and let her loose. We are still working on her walking skills so the front chest ring is very handy for her training sessions and helps me have more control and not have her pulling me. The handle on the back is handy many times while in public and i need to have her close to me to walk past busy areas or so others dont get so freaked out by her walking by. Given her breed she is unfairly prejudged so i pull her close before people catch attitudes. I also use it help me lift her into the car sometimes she cant jump in alone due to being tired like after a few hours at the dog park.Overall it is sturdy and has held up well to being used by my powerful breed of dog. She wore it pretty much all day excluding nights for about 3 days while camping recently and it didnt break or shred or anything in that time and it still looks pretty even though its a bit dirty and dusty. She was comfrontable in it the whole time never tried to get out of it and was happy to put it on again every morning. Like she does everytime she see the harness at home. This comfort was a major reason why i got this style of harness she had one before that was just straps no padded chest plate. She were the old harness once all day excluding nights for 2 days at thanksgiving where she had to be tied up during the day. she got bloody and raw looking scraps or sores on her chest. Right after that i bought this purple harness and didnt even get one raw and bloody scrape or sore anywhere on her during or after the camping trip with very long wearing hours. So this harness is very safe and comfrontable for dogs to wear long term, as in, many hours over a few days in my case. It is easy to put on my dog also just slip over her head, pull up the chest plate toward the stomach then snap and lock both buckles she is ready to go. I dont have to lift up my 70 lb wiggly dog like i did with that old strappy step in harness. This is also great at the dog park where her attention span isnt there and she needs to be released to go play or buckled up to leave quickly. We have had the harness about a year now and still works and looks brand new. I just wish there was a blue in a small size so my small dog could get one as well. The logo is very nice also just very simple, plain and basic lettering in white on black patch. Nothing loud and annoyingly bright ruining the design of the harness and drawing your eye in a negative way. You barely even notice it which is important to me i hate logos that draw to much attention and looks terrible. The reflective feature was nice to have as well during camping i could see my dog at night when going to untie her from the post for the final bathroom break before going into the tent for the night. Before camping there wasnt any use for it as i dont walk her at night or in the dark normally.All in all it is a great harness. Strong enough to handle a young and strong pitbull but still very pretty, easy to use and comfrontable for her to wear for long periods of time. Again only have owned the harness less than a year. So hopefully it will last at least another year or 2 before replacement is needed.

If you're thinking about it, just buy it. I have a 5 month old pit, who I could hardly handle on walks. She would be everywhere pulling with all her mite. After 2 minutes with this, she understood. We just walked about a mile and it was so pleasant. It seems really well made, also, and the reflector parts aren't overly dorky. Added security with the latch locks is a nice bonus. She's currently laying in the deck exhausted.

I have a very energetic 7 month old pitbull puppy, Jasper, and this is a MUST!!! I love that is has a handle as I can grab him at the dog park and help him in and out of the car! Also, it has a clip on top and one on the front for anti-pull although I reccomend an Easy Walk harness donthr best anti pull. This is his dog park and car harness and it's awesome! Very durable!!

My mutt is 10 months old and weighs 60 lbs and we have been using this harness for almost 3 weeks. When she see me with it she knows it is time to play! Unfortunately, if she decides to pull this harness does nothing to deter her. The location of the D ring on the top is where she has the most strength, just behind the front shoulders. The front D ring does nothing but make her want to pull backwards out of the harness. It may work for others but not for my dog.

My dog has used this as her primary harness for almost a year. The clasps are a little wonky now, but she is very rough on them. It has stretched a bit as well. But she is very rough on her harnesses. It has held up pretty well, all things considering!

This harness looks great and is sturdy, however it rubbed my pit mix raw under her elbows because she has extremely thin hair and a naked belly. Could be remedied with sheepskin sleeves, but I returned it for a different style harness. I have friends who use this harness for their fluffy children and it works great.

This was perfect for my dog. When she pulls, I connect it to the front ring and it slows her down. However, it seems awkward and affects the way she walks. So when I use the front ring, I just use it for a short time.

Only able to use for 2 weeks before the hook ripped off. Size medium on a 30lb dog.
