These contain wheat syrup
***UPDATE***I am updating my review because I have been in contact with the manufacturer and the Brand Manager is wonderful. She provided me with a lot of information about wheat syrup. I am still not certain that they are suitable for everyone, but I did try them and they did not make me sick. If you have celiac, or some other gluten/wheat sensitivity, proceed with caution.********************************While the product description indicates it is gluten free, as does the package, the second ingredient is wheat syrup. This is extremely disappointing. While on the phone with Amazon's customer service, the person assisting me noticed that there is a photo of the back of the package showing the ingredients. Unfortunately, it didn't occur to me to check it before placing my order.These may very well be delicious but I, and anyone else who is unable to eat wheat or gluten, will never know.

Yummy!!!
Visited Rome, Italy where these jellies were in a bowl at the front desk. While checking in had a couple and they were addictive!! Filled our pockets every time we walked by. When we returned back to USA we just HAD to find some and BINGO!! Amazon had them. A definite 5 star rating!

Tastes Like Hard Candy, Soft Like Gummies
I live in an extremely hot climate (heat index over 100 daily) that makes ordering items such as candies a shot in the dark.Not only did they survive the trip, they were tasty too. Each one is individually wrapped so you can pace yourself. Otherwise I would find myself breaking my daily calorie count by the handful.The flavors remind me of the nostalgia of safety pops, but without all of the crunching. They are lightly sanded with a small grain sugar so that there is a proper balance of flavor and texture.I really enjoy these, and had to get a second batch for my husband to keep in his office.

Good sized bag of candy and lasts a long time. Also nice that it is jelly candy without any oil added.

Soft, sugar-coated fruit gels like this are fairly ubiquitous at stores in southern Europe, but hard to find in the U.S. at a reasonable price. These huge 3 kg (6.6 lb.) bags have come down in price recently, since the Pandemic shut down high-end restaurants and hotels all over the world. I assume it's because these big bags are usually sold to institutions like that. So stock up, and then hide them, because if you're like me, you can down them by the dozen without blinking.And yes: These are the fruit gels that melt in your mouth, NOT the American stick-to-your-teeth variety.

Soft jellies, mild taste
The American palette increasingly veers toward strong, extreme, sour and spicy. Nothing wrong with those tastebud jolts. I'm as prone to those as the next person. So, sometimes it's nice to enjoy a more balanced center lane of flavor.These are soft, not chomp down jawbreaker chewy like some gummies. The fruit flavors are prominent but not explode in your mouth overpowering. The upside is that you'll keep reaching for another. The downside is that you'll keep reaching for another.
