The bottom two wires should be swapped, don't follow the picture on Amazon as the proper way to plug in the wires. It shows the red on the left and black on the right, it should be swapped. I attached a photo to show the internal connectors. If you look really close you can see it's labeled A to A and B to B.

Super strong connector. Worth the premium in permanent “wire tapping” connections, like for hard wired dash cams and radar detectors.Before buying these, I installed a Dash Camera in my car with old crappy blue crimp connectors from Auto Zone, and they didn’t provide a strong connection. The camera would randomly power off as the crappy crimps spun around the exposed wire.THEN, I found these. The tapping connection is very strong and reliable, and it looks very “clean” when you are tapping into a factory wiring harness.I strongly recommend these connectors. They worked with two different wire gauges - 22 and 18 in my case.

I like them! I used these to connect my tag lights. I couldn't install plus on them, because they have to be removed through the tag holes when changing tags out, and the hole where the wires pass through the trail housing is barely large enough for the wires, themselves. They looked a little frail, but they held up to me closing them with a little pressure from a pair of channel-locks. They aren't weather proof. I thought about rapping them in tape or applying RTV. That defeats the purpose. They are housed inside the trail section, anyway.

I used these to make connections along the track of my garden railroad. They are nice and flat to lay down on the substrate of my roadbed, and then get covered in ballast and finally have the track itself on top. In this situation they will get wet, so I covered them with liquid electrical tape and let that harden before dropping the ballast (1/8" crushed granite) on top.They've been in service for 6 months exposed to heat and rain. So far all the connections are solid. I do care about polarity on this 12V distribution system, so using black and red zip cord made everything easy. I'm really happy I found these connectors.

I bought these to make hooking up my after market backup camera easier and they're perfect. They barely break through the insulation on the factory wires so they don't cut through the wire it'self. They make a good connection that I don't have to worry about coming loose over time but will also be removable later if the car dies and I want to put the camera in yet another car.

If you ever need to tap into an existing circuit and you want to make sure it's done neatly, quickly and efficiently, these are the units for you!There's a small wiring diagram on each one so you can tell how to connect the wires.I needed to get a bunch of "T"s off of a long 12V run and very little space to connect each one. I was originally planning on cutting and soldering to make the T connections, but these things did it in one tenth the time with no need to cut into the main line.Love 'em.

Great t connection used them for the snide truck to install headrest DVD player to connect pier/ground wire they easy to install and and not thick like blue ones at autozone will see how well they work on out side to connect extra back up lights next not sure if they are good for weather so I will add some silicon around and then wet electrical tape to seal out water

I used the T-Tap to connect "anti-hyperflash" resistors to an automotive turn signal LED conversion.This T-Tap is easier to install, more secure, and more compact than the typical auto parts T-Tap.I did not feel as if my car was degraded by this modification to its wiring harness like I did with the more common T-Taps from the auto parts store.I will look for TYUMEN's similar T-Tap for wires larger than 18 gauge.
