Bought this shell as the Rubber Grips on my Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 had came off and I was having issues with the Bumpers. (While you have the shell off, spray the bumper buttons with some WD40 or Isopropyl Alcohol) Has issues with the installation of the Hair Trigger switch, as the video didn't clearly show that the piece needed to slide under another piece of plastic, however the rest of the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I never used the provided purple XYAB buttons, triggers or bumpers due to aesthetic reasons, but the new shell looks great and feels comfortable in my hands. You may want to look into purchasing a replacement battery as many controllers have had issues with bulging batteries, and you could easily replace this too while replacing the shell.

The elite controller from xbox is a joke and RB is prone to not working. The old case started falling to bit and was going to get a new controller. I thought I'd give this a try before moving on but very surprised that this new case, once together works amazing. I kept the original buttons and fitted perfectly. Highly recommend trying this out before retiring your xbox controller

This was easy enough to fit after watching a tutorial video and it gives the controller that classic 90/ 2000s look, which is wonderful for anyone with fond nostalgic memories of that era. Plastic quality feels decent enough too.

Looks great, feels nice to use, definitely much slipper than the original shell. The button presses aren’t quite as nice as they were before, but it’s all still functional. The fitting took much longer than anticipated, even as someone who’s comfortable with this sort of work. The trigger lock fitting wasn’t super clear on the video and you have to ensure the toggle goes under another tab before fitting it into the slot. It’s all doable if you’re slow and careful and the result is worth it if your controller is peeling like mine was.

As is the case with many; the grips started to peel off on my Elite Series 2 controller. I removed what I could then got a silicone cover and carried on. After some time it started to feel a bit lumpy - the remaining grip was starting to lift up. Major issue - when I started to pull of the remaining grip, the plastic casing started to disintegrate, exposing the rumble motors to daylight. I'd had it for 5 years or so and decided to send it for recycling. I'd had good use out of it. A day or so later I saw this... Luckily I had not got a round to taking it to the recycling centre. I ordered right away and I am glad I did! My controller is brand new again :] I decided to only use the shell and not the replacement buttons, triggers etc. as disassembling the entire thing looked too much like hard work. I had one small issue when I first used it - the right trigger only functioned properly when fully open (via the lock switch). When in Mid or Short lock the trigger did not achieve full range. The problem was that I had over-tightened the screw that holds the trigger lock switch in place and it was not activating the sensor. I popped it open again, loosened the screw half a turn and now it's working perfectly. I wish I had seen this long before now.

Superb item to repair my xbox elite 2 controller. Like many, the textured coating on my controller started peeling, this fixed the problem and made it as good as new.

Took me a little while to assemble it but once on it completely restored my crumbling Elite controller back to full functionality and the quality of the finish is excellent. Highly recommended. One thing to note though the video isnt super clear about how to install the trigger throw distance piece, look very closely at the back half of the controller case and you'll you need to insert it under a flap that can be hard to see with the transparent case. Overall though excellent product highly recommended

This full shell replacement kit for the xbox elite series 2 core controller was perfect. The original grip was peeling off the old shell and made the controller feel old and dirty. I didn’t want to replace the controller with a new one because the price and the controller still functioned well besides for the grips peeling off. The installation was quite easy while following the video the company provides on youtube. The new shell feels premium and looks great. I went with clear green for replacement on the red core elite controller and the red and green together looks alright although opinions differ.

Ho acquistato questa cover trasparente per personalizzare il mio controller Xbox Elite Series 2 e sono rimasto molto soddisfatto del risultato. Il materiale è di buona qualità e il design trasparente permette di vedere l’interno del controller, dando un look molto particolare e moderno. Nel mio caso non ho cambiato i bottoni perché mi piaceva di più con questa configurazione. Il montaggio richiede un po’ di attenzione perché bisogna smontare il controller, quindi è più indicato per chi ha un minimo di manualità. Una volta installata però la cover si adatta perfettamente e il controller rimane solido come l’originale. I pulsanti e gli anelli degli stick inclusi completano molto bene l’estetica e rendono il controller davvero unico. Consiglio questo prodotto a chi vuole personalizzare il proprio controller senza doverne comprare uno nuovo.
