Musical Mat (Black)

I wavered between the $160 and up electric drums but since I'm going on vacation, I thought I'd try this extremely portable set. It's great! The drums are placed well on the mat and it's plenty loud enough to join in with acoustic guitars. It comes with pedals too, which I haven't tried yet. The kids played it for an hour when I put in the batteries. Keep the box, it's the best way to store and carry it and keep all parts together. The sticks are minimally adequate. but 2 pair of good sticks are $8, so no worries. Great buy.

I love this drum set! Bought it for my 10 yr old daughter as a Christmas gift & she's figuring out new ways to use it every day! My 13 yr old son likes it as well. Lots of fun!

Bought this for my 11yo grandson for his birthday...he loves it...portable..works right out of the box..headphone jack is great

Quite clever for a rhythm toy, but the sound is rather tinny. The peddles are also VERY stiff, and do not press down easily, making it hard to use them as the bass and high hat. It is portable and will bring some percussion to jam sessions where a drum set is not possible.

We got this for our son for Christmas and he loves it. It is nice that he can play drums, yet the entire neighborhood doesn't ave to listen.

Item lasted not even 3 months before it stopped working completely. Save your money, don’t buy it! Wish I could return it, but since I bought it early to give as a gift...I can’t!

This drum kit is ingenious. It allows for teaching drums skills without the bulk of a full drum set. The additional features of recording and accompanying beats makes it well worth every penny.

It,s a ok drum for a young child to play with nothing for an older child or teen.
