This is a great collar because it's waterproof and reaches a good distance and has the option of sound, vibration or shock.However, it started to rust after a few months and even with the waterproof plug where you charge it leaks a little so the battery corroded after a few months.

Overall I am pleased with the product. My favorite thing is the vibrate feature, which shouldn't traumatize my dogs, but it gets there attention. But when I did use the static shock in the beginning, never had any problems with it burning the skin or causing irritation. Just read the instructions on how to properly use it! I can't really give a good distance review on, except it worked all around my 30 meter back yard with no delay. They might whimper and get scared when using the vibrate mode, but that is just an initial surprise shock with no harm to them. I wouldn't suggest using the static shock unless emergency to get snap them out of any fence fight mode. It was mostly used as a training tool for me to teach them not to run around the flower beds, if they do go on or near it, i would initially vibrate the collar to warn them.

Didn't work for my dog with a thick neck coat.

Ordered on Saturday, received by Monday as promised. Just had time to open it yesterday evening, looks simple to use. Not sure I like the collars but will see once I get it charged up and on the dogs. Need to get one more so that I can train both 'problem' dogs at the same time. Will update review as I get dogs acclimated and the collar in use. Customer Service has been very responsive to questions.UPDATE: Have used this now for a few weeks and has worked wonderfully to stop two of my dogs from barkiing in a.m. works well and was fairly easy to set up for two dogs. Recommend this product!

Great range and battery life. Would definitely recommend this e-collar

I never dreamed this would be as good as it is! Does exactly what it said it does, and exactly what I wanted it to do! My dog is getting better - digging holes in yard, eating/chewing/destroying anything nearby- but it is a work in progress. This device worked perfectly out of the box, was easy to pair, and was using it in 15 minutes. I couldn't be happier!

I am giving this a 5 star review based on the last model that has been discontinued. It does exactly what it describes and our dogs have responded well. We have only had to use the vibration mode and both dogs have been obedient with that mode. Great product, highly recommend.

It definitely keeps my dog away from the fence and keeps him from barking as people walk by. Wished I would have bought this trainer sooner than I did. I don't know what the sleep mode is about yet. So it does the job to make him obey me.
