Impressed with the quality, fit and finish. Looks super impressive on our door. Feels good. Feels quality. Installation was easy. Note on installation: no previous holes are needed, so you don't have to worry about if this "lines up" with what you got.If you're replacing an old knocker like I did, simply fill the old holes with Great Stuff (available at a hardware store), sand down, put a layer of joint compound, sand again, and then put this knocker WHEREEVER YOU WANT TO because all it needs is three small screws that enter from one side only. Easy.

Attractive finish, solid heavy casting. Included dimensions to drill holes in door. All misc. hardware was included.

This Atlas door knocker is beautiful on our Cape Cod style house. It isn't too fancy and the lines are clean and attractive. It comes with a little square piece (strike plate) for the knocker to rap against. In place, the strike plate sticks out too far and makes the knocker look like it's not all the way down. Also, when you open and close the door, the knocker hits the plate and makes noise that really irritated me.I took the strike plate off and now the knocker sits flush against the door. The knocker no longer bangs on the door when I open it. When people use the knocker, they are striking the wood door so I suppose, over time, there will be a dent in the wood but that's better than listening to the knocker hit the strike plate every time I open the door to go out.I gave it 3 stars because of the strike plate problem but, if you can make it work for you like I did, it's quite attractive, a good weight and seems to be good quality.

Beautiful, clean lines, but I love Mission-style anything. Install was relatively simple, and it feels nice and weighty when you use it.

This is a very unique and good-looking addition to our newly refurbished arched front door. We have a 1920's french eclectic home, but the mission style of this door knocker gives modern contrast. Good quality as well.
