I was a bit skeptical of a waterproof mattress cover that wasn't essentially a plastic coated bag. I am supremely impressed with the properties of the cover. We have two kids and we wanted something that would save against the rare nighttime accident. We have covers, but they aren't water resistant and so they are basically useless for our needs. I didn't want something overly plasticky since their accidents are pretty uncommon. I opened the package out, took the cover in my hand and poured water on it to see how it did. The top held water and has some absorption as it is a fabric type top, but the bottom side was bone dry. I let it sit puddled in my hand a while and my hand stayed totally dry on the bottom side.For a waterproof cover, I expected it to be loud and fairly plasticky, but not so. It's soft, comfortable, and looks good (as in inconspicuous and not shouting the fact that it's a waterproof mattress cover). I am impressed and happy to see it work.

I bought this mattress cover to put on a twin bed that my 5 year old grandson slept on while visiting For a few days. He wet the bed one night and this waterproof mattress cover totally worked protecting the mattress!! The cover is very soft to touch and does not make any sound when the body moves on while sleeping. I highly recommend this mattress cover!

Works great! My little one needed a cover that doesn’t make her hot and sweaty. Does not feel like plastic. Do not put in the dryer, hang dry!

We ordered 2 packages containing 2 matress covers each. We were initially very happy with the product but, after just 6 months, all 4 protectors were no longer waterproof. Our son is learning to potty train at night and had an average of one accident a week so each protector was washed approximately 6 times in 6 months. We washed them according to instructions with no bleach and we air-dried them so they were never exposed to the heat of the drier. I would not recommend this product if you hope for more than 6 months of use.

Mattresses seem to keep getting bigger and thicker, and a lot of the older waterproof stuff we used comes off in the middle of the night. Not this mattress protector! Nice deep pockets make it 900x easier to make the bed, which this mama appreciates!Soft-ish, and for sure waterproof. This isn't bad as far as waterproof covers go, but they're never going to compete with the comfort of plain cotton.

Needed extra protection for when kids climb into our bed. No crinkly sound, washes well and soft.
