Homeschool Book Essential
First time buying the 180 books and I absolutely love them. They’re easy to follow and the rubric helps with child progression. We add outdoor lessons that coincide with the book too so makes learning even more fun. I’ll be buying them for next school year too! Recommend only using crayons or color pencils. The paper is extremely thin and basic markers bleed through.

Great!
I just started homeschooling my kindergartener and this is a great supplement. They don't even teach science in our public schools so she's already ahead. Fast shipping! Easy for her to understand and enjoy learning.

A simple introduction to physical, earth and life science
This book is a series of short reading passages with two to three questions about the passage. Many of the questions are simple, and a few of the answers do not even require the child to read the passage in order to get them correct. However, the best part of this book is the factual nature of the reading, a new kind of reading for kindergartners, and the introduction to analyzing charts, data and some learning to understand maps. Many of the exercises are interesting and thought provoking. For the average child, this book should definitely be started very early Kindergarten. Don't expect your child be be an Einstein after doing this workbook! It is more of a reading comprehension book about science. I used this book as an additional "close" reading assignment for my child. To ensure that she was reading the text closely, I asked her to underline the sentence in the text that supported her answers. Each parent should figure out how best they want to use this workbook and what objective they want to achieve.

A Good Curriculum Supplement
I bought this book to supplement our eclectic homeschool curriculum. The content is solid, but I still feel like the worksheets should only be used as a supplement to actual instruction whether it is in person lessons, YouTube videos, or actual science experiments. Without it, the content would just be a little bland for kindergarten. The pages were all grey/black and white. I really wish that this curriculum was printed in color. I would like the level of rigor of this curriculum in a more flashy Scholastic style package ideally. I find that my child tends to do better with colorful worksheets rather than white and grey ones. I feel like this is a solid choice if you just need a little something extra to make sure that you are covering all of your bases, but ideally I would have liked for it to be more than it was. It did not really have that "wow" factor.
