Great mid temp weather top
Great for mid temperature ranges but below 10c you’d need more layers over

It's Gore product reputation as expected
It's a great top as you imagine sold by Gore. No complaints it's well worth the purchase

Excellent wind blocking base layer
Found this top to be really comfortable & very good at blocking wind. I was skeptical at first as I thought the colder breeze would pass through my outer layers & cool this base layer, but I’ve not found that to be the case. It works well. I am considering purchasing a second one.

Fantastic windstopper
It would be great if they had a version with back/waist pockets, like a cycling jersey. Other than that, love it (this is my second one).

This baselayer isn't like other ones that people wear it isn't too tight and has a zip

Great protection from the cold weather
My husband found it much warmer to wear when cycling outside in the winter months.

Good but sizing is poor
Bought this as an extra layer to keep me warm when cycling on cold days. On the whole it does that job well and is comfortable against the skin, but the manufacturer sizing is all over the place. I know and expected it to be a slim fit, but it is really is snug. I would say I am of average size and reasonably fit. 32" waist and 42" chest, but bought the XL as I thought this would give a it slightly looser fit. I was wrong it is skin tight. I did think of returning it but decided to keep it hoping it will give a little after wear. Would i buy it again? Probably not.

Atmungsaktiv isses so la la. Also Fazit.

This base layer works for me down to about 45 degrees (F) as long as I have a fleece jersey over it. Don't confuse this base layer iwth the other Gore thiner baselayer. The only difference between them is that this heaver version as a collarand the summer/spring base layer does not have a collar. They both have the front wind blocker material that really makes this baselayer work better than others. Too bad Gore does not make a winter base layer for near freezing temperatures. I still go to Rahpa for a really warm cold weather base layer. The Rapha winter baselayer includes a turtle neck and hand covers with thumb hole. Now I have a complete set of base layers.
