Call of Duty: modern warfare, but in my living room
Got for Halloween, but now use to snipe the boys when they hit dad with the nerf ambush. Could use an extra mag, but overall ridiculously fun. Buddy in the army came by for new years and won his appreciation when he saw the casings eject when reloading.

Product was given as a gift
Ok, kids liked for the most part but it kept jamming up/getting stuck

💥 Have some fun with this unique style alternative to nerf. I like it. 👍
It’s a really fun toy gun with enough realism to actually build some skills loading, aiming, firing. This toy gun has just enough zip to leave a mark, but not too much to cause too much damage. A great way to teach some responsibility safely and effectively too young Kiddos. The important things are done well. I highly recommend loading the dart in the casing, only deep enough to be flush with the opening like I have pictured in the magazine. If you pack the dart too far down, it will sometimes not come out or come out very slowly and under perform.

Cool Concept, But Falls Flat in Performance
The design is fun and the working lever action is probably the best part—it gives it a bit of a realistic and interactive feel. Shell ejection is also a neat touch that kids might enjoy. It's definitely the size of a toy, in comparison though. Unfortunately, that’s about where the positives end. The plastic feels very thin and flimsy, like it could crack if handled too roughly. The firing power is extremely underwhelming—darts barely make it six feet with almost no force behind them. For a toy marketed as a “sniper” style blaster, the range and performance are disappointing. It might still entertain a very young child who just wants the lever and shell-ejecting action, but for the price, the build quality and power simply aren’t there. Verdict: Not worth the money.

Well made
I picked up the Zhaninys soft bullet shotgun for my nephew, and it’s been a big hit. The shell-ejecting feature makes it feel realistic and adds a lot of fun to playtime—every time he pumps it and sees the shell pop out, he gets a huge grin. The foam darts are soft and safe for indoor or backyard play, and they shoot a decent distance without being too powerful for kids. The build feels sturdy for a toy, and the included scope adds to the “sniper” look, even though it’s just for pretend. Loading is simple, and the shells are easy for kids to handle. I like that it comes with enough darts and shells to keep the game going without constantly stopping to reload. It’s recommended for ages 8–12, and I agree—that’s the right range for kids who can handle the moving parts safely. For a toy blaster that’s more interactive than your standard dart gun and offers that satisfying shell-ejecting action, this one delivers a lot of fun.

Expensive, limited range, small
The Zhaninys soft bullet sniper blaster is a neat concept, but it fails to deliver on its intended purpose. Foremost, the blaster comes with plenty of soft bullets as well as magazines and shells. Loading the bullets in the shells takes some time, but it will keep kids busy between blasting sessions. The toy is easy to assemble, with most of it simply sliding together. The only piece that has to be fastened is the scope. This blaster is definitely intended for 7-10-year-olds. I was hoping for a much larger blaster so that my teenage son could enjoy it; however, this isn’t much bigger than some of his normal-sized ones, so I wouldn’t consider this a sniper-sized one at all. The toy doesn’t have much power and only launches the darts about 10 feet at the most, which is where the real disappointment is. I expected this to launch them across the yard. Given the time spent loading, the wow effect wears off quickly, and it would be ineffective in a battle session due to its lengthy loading times and limited range. The disappointment doesn’t end there; the build quality is also not good. The plastic is not thick, and it’s pretty flimsy. We have other blasters like this, and all it takes is one moderate bump or accidental step to crush it. It didn't experience jamming during test-firing, but I don't doubt it will happen given the complexity. Overall, I’d give this a pass if you are looking for a gift. I’d say the only redeeming part of this is that the soft bullets can be used in our other blasters. That’s quite an expensive investment for a bunch of soft bullets. This is way overpriced for the build quality; however, these things have gotten pretty expensive comparatively.

Great for pretend play!
This foam toy is great for any age to have a lot of fun with targets and overall pretend play. It is a very durable product that looks real and is very accurate when fired. It has a great battery life that maintains easy fun. The durability of this product is better than I had expected with the amount of times it has dropped and no pieces were broken off or damaged. This has great functionality and could be used a a birthday party for a game or just every day pretend play. Great value for the money two thumbs up!

Functions as it should
This soft bullet shotgun sniper is a fun toy for kids and offers a cool design that makes it feel like the real deal in play mode. The soft bullets are safe and fly a decent distance, which adds excitement to every shot. It’s easy to load, and the overall look is very appealing for young pretend play enthusiasts. It does function as it should, and its very decently sized. Con: The only downside is that it feels quite flimsy. It’s lightweight, which makes it easy for kids to handle, but it also means it might not hold up well with rough play. Still a great value for the fun it brings!
