I travel to South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana etc (basically the southern part of Africa) very often. What you find, is that normal “all in one” travel adapters DO NOT include the plugs specific to this region. I decided to bite the bullet and buy this pack since it contains two of the plugs that are used in this region, and I honestly couldn’t be more impressed. The plugs are STURDY, you definitely don’t have to worry about other, heavier items causing the plug to fall down. I was very easily able to bring my US power strip and plug it into this adapter to charge all of my electronics, and it worked like a charm. Before, the heavier weight of my power strip would cause my adapter to fall out of the plug. I am going to recommend this adapter pack to everyone who decides to travel to Africa with me, and if you’re considering a trip yourself, take it from a seasoned African traveler, that you’ll be VERY HAPPY with this purchase.

The product is excellent in quality. However, I suggest the manufacturer consider placing the two-point plug on the opposite side so that, when used in the US, the plug is positioned on top rather than at the bottom. This small design adjustment would make it more user-friendly and adaptable for different plug orientations.

Used these for our trip to Tel Aviv. Worked great for our smart phones - just remember to use a voltage converter if you for things without one
