This easel was such good value it was easy to put together on my own and is really sturdy. It's pretty easy to adjust and as it's relatively light a can move it around my studio. I bought the 150 cm and it's a good height for using when seated, maybe a bit low for standing but I'm 5'7".

Relatively easy to put together, the wood did split and I cut myself with the screwdriver however that’s because I’m not very good at building (only ever built one thing and that was 5 years ago). I’m 5ft 5” and it’s a good size for me, I’ve moved the part where the painting sits to the top half as on the normal part it’s too short for the size of paintings I like to do (smaller than A4 paper). The links that came with it didn’t take me to a video on how to build it. One took me to a Chinese website and the other didn’t load however luckily it came with physical instructions and I built it,

This easel is great. I didn't want to spend a lot of money since I'm just getting back into painting and wanted something to get me started again before possibly investing more further down the line. It is a good size, convenient for both standing and sitting. It is easily adjustable so can take a wide variety of canvas sizes (my first painting will be 1mx1m, which is probably about as big as I can get away with in my small flat). It was also really simple to put together. There are plenty of reviews that say the instructions are too hard to follow and make no sense, ignore those reviews haha. The people who wrote them obviously have zero practical skills and no logical brain power. All you need is a Philips head screwdriver and the ability to match the pieces to the shapes in the instructions, not exactly difficult. Overall I am very satisfied and would highly recommend for any hobbyist painter

This was the cheapest easel I could find so my expectations were low. It does come unassembled which is fine, I didn't find it harder to put together than your average Ikea flatpack, though the instructions did require a little interpretation. The quality of the wood is fairly low, some bits were poorly machined and the wood started to split as I screwed into it. Also, it's not very tall. I'm 5'8" so not exactly a giant and I expect I'll need to use this sitting down mainly. I expect it will break at some point but as long as I get a couple years' use out of I'm happy. Will stump up for a better one next time. If you're on a budget this should do you.

Love the quality. I made it myself so it was super easy to follow the instructions. There’s a small logo that links to a video on Instagram too. That was also great help. I'm a amateur artist, my media is acrylics on canvas, I've been painted now since I was young, needing a secondary easel for side projects and for display, Amazon was my first choice to look. I settled on this Studio Easel easel by ZanGee in the 69" version, now I chose this size as the easel is also available in a smaller 59" size but after I read a customer review by someone who's the same height as me saying they were hoping to stand as they use it and couldn't so they recommend the larger size, this is were my four out of five star comes in, now the easel itself is fairly sturdy, I'm actually very impressed, it's real wood construction and metal wing nuts to adjust the height, the assembly instructions were fairly easy to follow and currently I'm using it for a 100cm x 100cm stretched canvas and it holds it very firmly, my complaint is the 59" and the 69" are exactly the same easel, same thickness and width but the larger size is more expensive by the price of the smaller one alone, just because you get an extra ten inches of a back piece that's two inches wide, it would have been better just having one larger size as I resent this pricing, a couple of quid more would be acceptable but double the price? Fast and efficient dispatch and delivery by local courier. I'd recommend the larger size as you're good to go for any canvas up to 140cm.
