Great little meter at good price
It works, instructions not needed (but included in convenient fold format that stores in the case), just the way it should be. Intuitive. No batteries, powered by usb device under test. Even graphs results. Couldn’t be better. Very clear bright display. Recommend.

Be careful with Fragile LCD display
I really like the product. I was using it for testing various Quick Chargers as it would show the actual output voltage, current , and power of the devices connected. All was fine until one day I made a fatal mistake and broke the LCD in haste as I yanked the USB-A output out from my circuit because it was beginning to spark and burn. I must say that this was of no fault of the USB monitor directly rather my stupidity that caused the failure. It turns out that I had connected a USB-C device that negotiated a 12 V charge voltage while I had connected the USB-A output to another device that ran at 5V max. This of course sent 12V into my 5V device, which was a Li-Ion battery charger and you guessed it blew up the entire circuit, complete with flames and sparks. The warning for other users of this device is to be cautious and careful with connecting multiple USB devices to the monitor device, as a higher voltage , >5V will source out the USB-A port when a USB-C device calls for it!!! The failure of the LCD was because I quickly tried to unplug the source of power, that being the USB port monitor, and it caused the LCD to fail as there are cracks in the display making it now useless . I would recommend that the hardware be packaged with a housing or enclosure that fortifies the fragile glass LCD for future versions of this device.

Compact and powerful features
Compact but powerful little meter. Seems to measure well within the 1% accuracy advertised. Best $20 I've spent on a meter of this type. I don't use all the functions but great for checking the gazillion phone chargers I have and which ones are putting out the juice. Plus checking battery paks as well. Highly recommend.

Works well
I have an older "cross-shaped" USB meter that the USB-A input connector fell off. I bought this to try as a replacement, and I like it a lot better. The larger display is probably the best feature, but I do like its multiple display modes, including graphing. The only thing that doesn't quite work is the display rotation. It works for 3 of the 4 views, but with the input to the left, the display is never correctly oriented. Not a big deal, but it probably needs fixing in the firmware. It comes in a tin can, which is probably best to store it in, since the device itself is uncased with the (lacquered) PCB exposed on the back.

Great cable power tester not so great for fast charge testing
I like the big screen that rotates and I like how easy it is to use.I dislike that the device sometimes doesn't work with PD cables even though I plug the cable to a compatible fast charge Samsung s23 ultra. I've seen the note written in RED about it before buying this product but I never thought it'd be this annoying. To test a fast charge, I always have to unplug it, plug it back, unplug it, reverse the cable or the adapter and then it will work.Since I just got it, I'll keep using it with the annoying fast charge testing never working on first try until I find a better device or return it.

Nice metal case included
Mine arrived in a small padded metal case with a plastic window which was not expected. It also holds the included USB C male to male adapter. It functioned well testing it out on a couple of items in different configurations. Make sure to read the notes about using the USB C ports. You really need both ends connected to get the screen to power on. Just plugging a powered cable alone into the USB C in port doesn't power it up. I'd recommend picking up a USB A extender cable to use with this if you don't already have one. The Help function on the screens is there if you need reminded what to press to do what. It's nice you can easily rotate the screen around to face the direction you want. Overall a pretty good unit for the price.

CHEAP PARTS = BAD QUALITY & FAULTY PRODUCTS
I use solar panels to charge battery packs and other devices when backpacking/camping. This meter was supposed to help me determine if my equipment was performing at optimal levels, at home and on the trail. The meter came in a tin box that had no hermetically sealed wrapping and no secured retail packaging. I found it very odd that the manufacturer did not do a better job of securing their product. After opening the tin box, I saw nothing that looked strange or out of place. Unfortunately, as seen in the pic, when I plugged the meter into one of my battery packs, I immediately saw that the digital display was damaged. After seeing the damage, I decided to take a closer look at the meter and that's when I discovered a significant design flaw. While viewing the pics on Amazon's web page, it looks as though the manufacturer used a thin layer of plate glass to cover/protect the digital display, but to my surprise, the manufacturer used some sort of semi-flexible, clear polymer resin material. As a test on the damaged meter, while using only the lightest finger touch, I noticed that the polymer cover slightly depressed in the direction of the digital display. After seeing the polymer cover flex, I now believe that if enough force is applied (and it probably wouldn't take much), the cover could actually touch the digital display and damage/destroy it. Would it really have cost so much more for the manufacturer to use plate glass as a cover/protector, rather than going with ultra-cheap plastic?Did the damage happen at the manufacturer? Did it happen in transit? At Amazon? Since the tin box was not sealed by the manufacturer, there's really no way to know when and where the damage occurred. What I do know is this: If this meter can't survive the trip from the factory to my home, what are the chances of it surviving your average backpacking/camping trip? Without adding a bulky and heavy container to my gear, I'd say the odds are ZERO.I really wanted this meter to work because I liked the idea of the large display. Fortunately, Amazon refunded my purchase price, so it's back to Amazon to find another meter that is more robust and isn't going to break before I even get a chance to use it. If I could, I would have given NO stars.CHEAP PARTS = BAD QUALITY & FAULTY PRODUCTS
