Great air rifle magazine, holds our ammo so you can load the rifle.

I have bought 3 Hatsan .25-10 shot HA90316 cartridges for my Hatsan .25 caliber Flash QuietEnergy Pre-Charged-Pneumatic Pellet Rifle in addition to the 2 that came originally. One back when I bought the rifle in 2019, and two just recently in March 2021. I have had one cartridge fail by jamming so badly that I had to cut through the pellet with a very thin surgical scalpel blade, which may have caused it not to work, but I decided that I would not use it again and simply took it apart to see how it worked. It's whole practice and design is based on very easy to understand features of spring tension, friction, and a very novel loading sequence that is not intuitively understood, until you see how it works. There are 6 parts to the entire cartridge, 1. The black shell, 2. The red magazine fan, 3. The clear plastic cover, 4. The spring, 5. The black o-ring or grommet, and 6. The single screw that holds the other 5 parts together. Every one of these parts are well made, precise, exacting in their function, and with proper treatment, I would expect could last indefinitely. You should really look at the function of each part to appreciate it well thought out function. It is not complex, but deceptively simple, keeping it very reliable. I added some white paint to the engraved letters in the clear cover, to add some pizazz to the cartridge, along with some red paint on the backside of the shell, to emphasize and distinguish each cartridge from each other, but all 4 that I have (2 originals with thousands of pellet’s through them, and 2 recent ones with 3-5 uses) are indistinguishable from each other in appearance, fit and function. I have noticed that cartridges work most reliably with nominal pellets like JSB DIABLO EXACT (all variations), BENJAMIN, CROSMAN PREMIER, H&N SPORT (all variations EXCEPT SILVER POINT), PREDATOR GTO DOMED HEAD DESIGN. Where I did see jamming issues were with exceptionally long and ribbed exteriors with pointy heads like SENECA HUNTING PELLET, H&N SILVER POINT and pointy heads like the former, and COPPA-SPITZKUGEL. I really wanted the COPPA-SPITZKUGEL to work since the are a bright copper finish, but they were inconsistent accuracy and did cause jams, that never failed the rifle, but could not be trusted in not jamming it.

Slight wobble but it works flawlessly. If you're looking for a higher capacity magazine for your hatsan jet 1 or 2 it will work.

Dislike that pellet skirt loads first an that could cause pellet flight to fly incorrectly.

This after market part is a millimeter skinnier that the opening in the gun. In have Ben using the gun and each time I advance the pellet to take my next shot the magazine falls out! Faulty craftsmanship!
