Bought because work swapped our solid wooden desks with tall backs with flat, white, plastic, open plan desks, but did not shade the windows from bright sunlight. You couldn’t see the screens because the sun was too bright and burning through unprotected windows. The shade did the job well. I clipped it to the metal shelf struts on the desk and the bendable arm twisted how I needed it. I even clipped it to the desk divider and it held.

The photograph doesn't do it justice! The actual clipper is much bigger and sturdier in real life - I used it briefly today as the sun was piercing through the office blinds. It was so effective, I didn't have the usual eye blinding headache and feeling of nausea and was able to continue working with a cool shade angled just right. Highly recommended!

Solved my problem! Works great. I have skylights in my house and at a certain time of day the sun would come in through them and hit my laptop and create a horrible reflection in my eyes. I now clip this to the corner of the computer and it works like a charm for the hour or so that this occurs. Great product. I'm sure I'll find other uses for it as well.

Not the most attractive thing but I clipped it to my monitor to block the harsh lights overhead in my office and it does the job! Also, it's not so huge that it would be too embarrassing to use at work (like some options I have seen). Easy set-up.
