We are really happy with this RO system. The water taste is fantastic! I can’t tell anything about the installation as we hired this done. But then I did the rest of the setup which was very easy with simple instructions. The system was a little larger than I anticipated, but it did fit under our sink at an angle because we have a drain pipe at the back of the cupboard. The faucet that comes with this unit is really nice. When you turn the water on the base lights up and tells you the water levels. Pretty cool. Also when you turn on the water, the pump turns on and gives a nice steady stream of water. The pump is very quiet and not irritating at all. We have only had the system for a few weeks so haven’t had to change the filters yet.

This was easy to install and the instructions were very clear and informative. Everything checks out with the filtration of the unit, I conducted both a TDS and complete water test and everything checks out. I had to reroute the electrical cord since there’s no under the sink outlet, but that was a non issue. I can give a new update at 6 months or so, but for now this thing is humming along perfectly.

I RARELY give anything 5 stars so it should not be taken lightly. but, this unit, the company and they're attention to service has left me totally impressed. I've had 3 previous RO units and every last one of them has left me disappointed. Some more than others but they've not been replaced because they wore out. They were hard to care for, performed poorly, Name it something left me not happy. So much so I'd actually given up on RO units and went with a simple multi-stage water filter. Which was "ok". Until this unit. For the record I also purchased one accessory for it (their small pressure tank https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09MD7FFYP?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title This because I have the unit hooked up to my refrigerator which has an ice maker so the pressure tank was necessary so when the ice maker called for water there would be sufficient flow to maintain correct operation. Neither unit has disappointed me (except a little stand for the tank would have been nice to have). As it is I've worked around that oversight. By being a "tankless" system there is no problems with stale tasting water and being a very small tank water is exchanged in it almost immediately while it does it's job. The main unit sits under my sink, and when filling a container of say a half liter or more the pump will kick on and hum quietly under the sink. Almost unnoticeable. The water taste is great, the remineralization gives me just the right amount of TDS back into the water for taste and mineral content. Bottom line this is one helluva nice unit Also wanted to add how incredibly attentive people in Customer Service have been especially Olivia. Honestly once again a top notch unit and company. If not this one grab a unit from these folks I don't think you will go wrong here. Update 11/17/2025 I am becoming increasingly concerned and disillusioned here with this product and the Waterdrop company. About 2 weeks ago I began noting quite high readings of TDS in my water unless I let this system run an inordinate amount of time before consuming or testing. Which is impractical as the unit is not simply plumbed to my sink but additionally plumbed to my refrigerator dispenser and ice maker. Here it is totally impractical (if not impossible) to allow this system to "run and flush itself) every few hours! I don't know if something has failed (they claim the CF type filter is supposed to last 6 months and the RO cartridge 12 months). Well I am not even at 4 months of use yet and I am using this with softened pre-filtered water. Yet trying to get a hold of someone at Waterdrop is like pulling teeth! I am seriously considering disposing of this system and either A going back to a conventional (tank type) RO system or perhaps one from a company with better follow through. As this is unacceptable. Should this change or be resolved I will certainly follow up with a full report. For now consider this a 2 start item not a 5 star Update on an update Upon talking further with the company re the concern(s) I have had/experienced, especially with Krystal, then verifying it with independent research on my own, I've discovered what was a "concern" is actually just a phenomena with all RO systems (whether tank or tankless as this one). It's called "TDS Creep". So what had me concerned was when left overnight, if you drew a glass of water and tested it straight off with another TDS meter it would give a somewhat high reading. Not awful just higher than you'd think. I've since come to find out this happens with all RO systems due to the stagnant water sitting under pressure against the RO Membrane. And that initial "slug" of water does flush away in seconds. Krystal was quite helpful in helping me discern this. I think some of my concern came due to some language differences as well as the huge time difference with their tech support. No there is not only a lag but with things translated "on the fly" there can be some misinterpretation. However they have been more than kind with walking me through the whole thing and having the knowledge will keep me from making a poor decision. I like the system so much a I ended up buying a second one for our daughter and will install it soon. For her I found a G2 and am looking forward to getting it installed
