Cant believed it worked!
My wife and I tried everything we could got get our 1 year old german shepard to walk without pulling and dragging us and jumping on other passing dogs, kids and people on walks. It was very frustrating and embarrasing. We tried obedience classes, treats, clickers, toys, remote training collars (which we did not use) and harnesses (which worked great when she was 40 - 50lbs) but now at 70lbs my wife could not walk her at all.We were close to giving up and giving her away or adapting her out. To make a long story short our neighbor kept telling us about prong collars and I kept shrugging it off thinking back in the 80's when choker collars were all the rage, but this is not a choker collar. So after a couple of months and watching my neighbors dog, I finally gave in I bought a titan from a local pet store and the results were immediate, I mean in the parking lot outside the pet store immediate. We've had it about a month now and she walks loose leash. She might pull briefly if we come across squirrels or geese but she quickly recants and just stands in hunting mode. She does not jump on other people and their dogs. We've now been able to train her to pay attention to us so we can train her to do other things. she is a joy to walk and own. This might sound like an infomercial hehe but its not. the prong collar just worked for us.
