Do not really know how they will fit as they have not been presented yet to the child as a gift nor have they been laundered. My only gripe is that I saw nowhere in the on-line advertisement that these were boot-cut style and I wanted straight-leg, per this little boy's request. Will see if he will wear the boot-cut style before returning this pair of pants.
