With and Without Blondie
I specifically bought this CD because it was a mix of Blondie songs, as well as Deborah Harry solo tunes. I especially enjoyed the song "I Want That Man" from her solo career. I had seen the video on YouTube, and was glad to hear this song again. As well as some of her Blondie hits, like Heart Of Glass/Rapture/Hanging On The Telephone/Dreaming/Atomic. I would highly recommend this to Blondie as well as Debbie Harry fans.

needed more off 1st two Blondie albums
Titled the "Complete Picture" so I'll give her a pass for including solo stuff on this much of which is duff. The Blondie tracks are great. I just wanted more of those. How "Detroit 442" did not make this is beyond me as that was Debbie Harry at her sexiest and rockingest, if you've seen the video (YouTube it).

Probably The Best
This is a must have album for any fan or music collector. The album has it all and it leaves nothing to chance. It also introduces the listener to some tracks of Debbie's from her solo albums as well (which I think a lot of people have really overlooked) So yes the album is a bit pricey but look at what you get. It's a good buy especailly here on Amazon where at the record shop I've seen it priced as high as 39.99 and you have to have it through a special order.

Down & Dirty Good
The Complete Picture is one of the best compilations I've ever heard. It's obvious that a lot of thought went into not only picking the tracks but also to the order in which they appear. This CD tells the story of an incredible band named Blondie -- and it doesn't leave out the "import parts." Complete Picture has both "French Kissin' in the USA" and "Island of Lost Souls." It has the surreal "Well, Did You Evah!." The sound quality is sharp and clear. This is one well-mastered CD.Complete Picture has just about all of Blondie's best known songs. (The only glaring omission I can think of is "X Offender" and I'm probably the only person who likes it. Grin.)If you're looking for a "best of" Blondie, you've found it. The Complete Picture is worth the extra cost. Buy it. You'll be glad you did.

A COMPLETE PLEASURE
Blondie started out as a bunch of poppy punks, progressed into artpopdom and in the process became one of he biggest selling acts of the late 70s/early 80s. With Deborah Harry, the priginal blonde of pop, as frontperson and a repertoire of fluent, supercharged songs like Heart Of Glass, I'm Always Touched By Your Presence, Dear and Denis, they jostled for number one position with those other blond phenomena of the period: Abba and the Police. This album proves that Blondie have aged well. Other highlights include Sunday Girl, Picture This and Dreaming, which overshadow Harry's later solo material such as French Kissing In The USA. Not that she had lost her touch - her duet with Iggy Pop, Well, Did You Evah!, displays lots of streetsmart exuberance.

Well....
I Thought At Least From Issuing Label CHRYSALIS ( Who Had Blondie Over The Years ) You'd Get A True Package Of " Best Of " But Like ARISTA And Others, They Want The Sucker To Buy " Round 2 " When One LP / CD Would Contain The Full Back-Catalogue Of Hits From An Act ( With The Exception Of The Bugs , Stones, Dylan, Eagles, Etc )CAPITOL Has Done The Same Thing With Bob Seeger And Steve Miller ( And Even A Twin CD Of The " Best Of The Beach Boys " Omitted " In My Room " Until They Came Up With Yet Another Re-Hashed CD )So, Even Though There Are Some Choice Tracks On This Compilation By Blondie - There Label Chose To Omit The 1979 Smash " One Way Or The Other "I Am Well Aware That Some Of These Outfits Have 19-Year-Olds Culling Their Back-Catalogues, But CHRYSALIS Should Know And Do Better - Or Take A Look At How ELEKTRA Records Used To Do Things ( Or VANGUARD Or SPECIALITY / CONCORD )Still, Four Stars, Based Alone On The ( Still ) Popular Group - Far Ahead Of Their Time...

Debbie and her Blondie band at their very best
This is the VERY best best of Blondie I have ever come across. All the hits you would expect are there, Denis, Hanging on the Telephone, Sunday Girl, Rip her to Shreds, and more. There is also a great fun track recorded with Iggy Pop, its a cover called Did you Eva, I love it and bought it for this. I haven't found it included on anything else. The track listing is recorded in well mixed order, great sound quality a great album all round and perfect for BBQ's or anything where you want some boppy music that everyone (in most cases anyway) will know at least some of.
