If I had a large studio or large room I’d absolutely love it and use it more but being as my space is tight I don’t take it out nearly as much as I thought I would. Considering the quality of light and quick assembly, I really like this strip box. But I have to consider how often I’ll use relative to what it does and the cost. It's made from excellent materials and everything fits perfectly. The design and implementation are also top notch. There are two things that I don't like about it: (1) It doesn't collapse with all of the modifiers in place. That's problematic, forcing me to completely disassemble it whenever I need to take it on the road. I have a Fotodiox Pro Studio Solutions EZ strip box, very similar in design but made of lesser materials, that does allow complete collapse without needing to disassemble it. (2) This Glow softbox is large and VERY deep. I get that the larger volume softens the light. But for tight spaces, this softbox is not easy to work with. It's massive! (See attached pix for a comparison with the aforementioned Fotodiox) That said, I'm satisfied with the Glow softbox!

Great softbox! Easy to put together and to take down.
For beauty lighting, place three in a triangle and shoot through the hole in the middle. Gives you great flawless beauty lighting!

Simple and works well, but not quality construction - mine fell apart
The softbox is a good size and works well. I was fine using a pair of them in my normal use. However after only a few months one of the support bars broke rendering the softbox useless. Adorama/amazon service did offer a refund if I shipped it back, but the cost to ship consumes most of the refund. So, it's final home unfortunately is in the garbage. You get what you pay for.

We love our Glow EZ Lock modifiers. We have 2 of these for edge lights for portraits as well as many others.

perfect for full body portrait
Very good value for the price. I rarely use the octabox after getting this one for full body portrait. I works well with the Godox AD200.
