Scola Glascol 6 x 150ml Glass Paint

These paints are good quality glass paints and worth your money. Trouble is that they ALWAYS leak on shipping. I have contacted the seller numerous times to make sure they selotape the caps so leakage is prevented. But it seems they just leak everytime. All sellers who sell any kind of paint should always be wrapping the caps, or even the whole bottles to prevent spillages during shipping. I have bought probably all kinds of glass paints available over 10+ years (cheap ones, expensive ones, water based ones and solvent based ones) and this is definitely one of the better ones. Its nice and thick and water based so perfect for working with kids. If you are looking for a more professional finish then buy either pebeo or marabu glass paints, which are more expensive but definitley worth it if you need a better, longer lasting glass paint.

The package came quickly enough, in a very tatty pre used box! The bottles just floating around loose in the bottom. The invoice had 6 crossed out and 5 inked in with a signature that was impossible to decipher, NB. with no explanation why. The price though was not altered, so from what I saw I was paying for 6 bottles but only getting 5.I promptly called the seller, who could not explain but offered me a discount on the price by subtracting the price of 1 bottle.These paints were a present for my son who I was visiting the next day so I was forced to accept, otherwise they would have gone back and I would have shopped with a different company!It was a very bad service attitude. To cap it all, I was told by the seller that this was probably just some lad in the warehouse who did not package the bottles properly or make the situation clear ref having 1 bottle missing. Come on!I did get the refund promptly but I certainly would not use this seller again and suggest you shop elsewhere if you would like a decent service and importantly, customer respect.

HiI received my order thank-you. I love everything about these paints. While packaging was good two of the bottles leaked a little. Perhaps a seal under the cap might prevent this from happening again.Kind regardsPolly

Bought these so I can paint on my window. They came no damage to outer box none to inner box but when opened they had leaked. The paint was still tacky so it leaks in transit.

I have had to self isolate for two weeks, so I decided to do a stain glass project on one of the doors in my house, and paint a rainbow on a different window. Ordered these paints based on the description the seller put on here. I was beyond excited when the paints came today! First problem was encountered when I opened the box, all of the bottles had leaks in them, as if someone had done a very sloppy job of pouring the paint in the bottles. I started on the rainbow first. The paint is terrible! It runs, the texture is different - the purple, green and blue seemed thicker and easier to apply than the red and yellow, which ran down on the glass and had quite a job of keeping them from mixing with the other! Overall, I would not recommend these paints.

Value for money is good,texture is ok. I am using it for glass so needs a second coat.Maybe a good idea to add a White into the pack.

For my art A-Level I was doing work on Acetate sheets on the subject of stained glass. I needed to be able to paint translucent colours onto the acetate so that when held up to the light would shine through the colours. These paints do that perfectly, they take a day or so to dry but are very durable, and washable too.If you want more variety of colours then I suggest getting Pebeo glass paints, although they come in much smaller pots and are expensive. Fthe base mixable colours though these are great value as each bottle is 150ml!A nice touch also is that the paints are made in the UK.Thanks Amazon!Note: This is classed on Amaozn as a 'Toy' and it clearly is not!

Good glass paint but a little thin and runny. Like other reviewers it was delivered with spillage from a number of the bottles.
