Two years ago I lost almost 2 stone and went from a 38" waist to 34". I have been wearing 24" trousers ever since, despite having regained the weight over the last 6 months.While my trousers still fit reasonably comfortably, I bought the Medium size of these shorts hoping that they would be big enough. I can get them on ok, but even if I do lose the weight again (which I am working on), I don't think that will make much difference to the tightness on the hips.The other thing is the legs, which are also tight. They are comfortable when walking, but I have to pull the legs of the shorts up to allow sitting with my legs up, and they are a bit tight for swimming as well.I would recommend if you are 34-36" waist to consider Large rather than Medium.On the plus side, I love the pockets, and they do look good. Just hoping that they fit better once I lose weight.

Not bad shorts. Quality is ok not amazing but for the price it’s fair enough.I’m 6ft 3 and found these a little too short in the legs. I generally like shorts closer to the knee but these came up quite high.Great colour tho! Found them a little tight in the waist but to be fair I did consume a lot of food on the holiday so my waist line felt tight in everything.

Good shorts, well made. Only slight gripe is that they're not as long as they look in the pictures but no stars lost because maybe I have long thighs. It's never come up before though. They are 20"/50.5cm from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the leg.I'm normally a size 34" waist and these fit just right. They're pretty comfy too, I really like them.I need to give a massive shout-out to the seller who, when I contacted them to say that I received the wrong colour, didn't question it one bit and sent another pair straight away. And none of this "replacements coming from China in 21 days" malarky, they came with a day or two. That's top service, I wish there were more sellers like this. Thanks.

Bought these for my son. He's a 32' waist but these are deffo on the small'ish size. They just about fit but I'm not sure how long they'll last as 'they just about fit' So if you are going to buy them and want them to last? Maybe look at the next size up

Bought these for my husband's birthday. He is usually a size 36 but can go up to a 38 when he wants a looser fit. I bought the size L and they are a perfect fit. Husband liked them so much I ordered a navy pair as well. They aren't long and bulky and the drawstring is also not too long so doesn't get in the way. They have a white mesh lining. They come nicely packaged in a slim zip top bag. I'm sure you'll be happy with your purchase. I've added 3 photos as I always find this helpful when I read reviews.

These are excellent if you don't want to be seen in budgie smugglers. The penalty is that they will create more drag and you won't be as quick through the water. They aren't particularly quick drying. There are plenty of pockets, though I'm not so sure I would trust the Velcro fastenings. Put a loose bow in the drawstring or you might have quite a job undoing the knot.

Good quality stuff, i like the lenght which is good and quick dry, Good for swimming.
