light, sharp, durable, affordable! 100% satisfied and can't recommend it enough!
As a professional chef, I am so pleased with this amazing, beautifully crafted, and surprisingly affordable knife. The great point of choosing Victorinox Santoku knife is, famous of this durable, long lasting sharp, amazingly light weight and Ergonomically designed handle, easy to maintain, versatile use from detail delicate julienne to cutting big, hard veggies. I use small shaping knife as well as my favourite, which is also great mobility and flexibility. Overall, I am a big fan of Victorinox knives and can recommend its products 100%!!

That NOT a knife....... THIS is a KNIFE!
After learning the value of a good quality knife! I bought this knife for my companion after purchasing a Wusthof for myself for just over a 100 pounds some months before. That being said the only thing the Wusthof does better is cut things like watermelons and squash due to the extra blade thickness. which is pretty niche, and in hind sight a could have saved my self a reasonable sum of money As this knife performs splendidly for a fraction of the cost.

Chef quality knife that won’t break the bank.
Brilliantly sharp and light weight. I’d be amazed if you can get a better knife for the money.

Nice and light knife for chopping vegetables, I have bought few different sizes and shapes of Victorinox knives. They are very good knives to be used in the kitchen

It's the perfect (and more forgiving) option if you're looking for a chef knife for home. It's shorter than the normal chef knife and larger than the other kitchen knifes you have. Have been using this for 2 years now, have handled almost everything, meat or vegetables. Did not come super sharpest on delivery, I believe by choice, as the blade is strong, safer that way, especially for beginners, which I am. But it's sharp enough for anything at home. Slightly shorter knife for this type, means it's very handy and comfortable to use. And it's by no means short as its a pretty large knife. The blade is heavy enough to crush ginger garlic by the blade, and cut through bones. Quality is extremely good, very durable, and opted for this model (which does not have wooden handle) as its dishwasher safe. Have been in dishwasher many times but it's easy to clean otherwise too and I prefer to wash it by hand. Price wise, it will look pricey, but if you look at other chef knives from Victorinox itself, you would see it's actually priced more reasonable. And it's a long term buy, you can use it for years. I believe it's better value for money, than buying a bad blade. If I have to pick just one knife for a kitchen, I then it would be this knife, it's the perfect all rounder.

Originally bought this to keep at my mom's for when I cook over there but I've been using this at a new job where people are a little less knife care conscious than I am and it has held up really well. It is very comfortable in a pinch grip unlike the fibrox style handle these usually have. Thin enough and tall enough and a very gentle curve without too much belly and a decent flat spot at the heel so you don't get those annoying accordion cuts on green onions and basil. It's very lightweight which feels really nimble and is nice on my aging chef hands. This is a great knife for a home cook or for a pro chef that doesn't care if this isn't a piece of art but a very functional tool. It responds well to stropping and comes back to razor sharp with a stroke on a ceramic rod. If I were a knife salesman this would be my number one recommendation for a budget santoku

Ótima mas não para todos os cortes. Mas ótima para o uso diário
