Perfect fit for my old Presto pressure cooker.

Working so far with no problem yet but it's kinda hard to get it to fit .

Our Presto pressure cooker is probably 10 years old. I saw someone else's post saying that the quality of this cooker was not good as 10 years ago. So, I was worried if the sealing ring would fit to the lid of my old pressure cooker perfectly. Well, it did fit perfectly. One thing to keep in mind is that the sealing ring received was covered or sprinkled with some white powdery stuff. Since the sealing ring is made of rubber, perhaps each sealing ring was covered with the powder to prevent it from sticking to other sealing rings when they are stored together in a warehouse. So, my mother soaked the sealing ring in the water overnight. The water looked gray and dirty in the morning. But the white powdery stuff was gone from the sealing ring and it looked clean and new.
