Awesome upgrade
I upgraded everything on my boiler with all new Taco equipment. The original circulators were Taco as well and were still working- but way past the expected lifespan. One was a little noisy, but I'm holding on to them for spares just in case. These new ones are SO quiet, thankfully the lights let me know when they are on. I like that they can detect problems and either resolve them or let me know with an error indication. My furnace room is next to my home theater room, so I like that they can turn on and nobody would know- as long as I turn my aquastat off when watching a movie. These come with drainback valves, so I was able to bypass my zone valves and just use circulators for my two zones. When I installed these, I installed a Taco 4 zone controller as I plan to add my pool to the system and my garage at some point. So far, I really like everything from this brand! Super easy installation, but they demand that one uses the sealing rings instead of the rubber gaskets. I will admit that I used rubber gaskets because I couldn't get my flanges off to switch to the sealing ring style. So far, so good. Because the original design of my system was poor, my circulators are on the pull side and not the push side- so they were pulling "downhill" which meant rotating the motor on the housing. Took two minutes... no biggie. Would buy again, these are awesome!

At the $184 mark the 007e so far its been great. It's super quiet. It's a very easy install and fit perfect replacing a more than 20 yo 007.

good fit
I needed to find a pump with selectable mounting flanges . It fit perfectly between the old Taco pump flanges. It is so quiet I can't hear it running. Works great.

I've installed hundreds of these and this one was a dud!
I'm not sure if it was me having bad luck or what but, this thing never worked. I've installed hundreds of circulators so I know what I'm doing but, this one just wouldn't work. Had to go purchase one at a local place.
