Way too flimsy for the job. Why couldn’t Flmo sell a metal spanner? In fact my advice would be to forget Flymo altogether and get a machine that cuts grass instead of chops at it (essentially has a better quality cutting blade). I’ve now got skinned knuckles thanks to trying to use this piece of rubbish - oh and I still failed to remove the blades retaining nut. And no you can’t use a metal adjustable spanner thanks to the chocolate like consistency of the metal.

Does the job, but could do with being a bit stronger... Or metal.
Does the job but considering it's in charge of securing a spinning blade it's quite flimsy. The hex aperture being plastic it shed a little so I wonder how many uses it would have (I don't change the blade that often in fairness) but the biggest problem was I thought the handle might snap whilst loosening blade. Wear gloves! If it does snap you could slice your hand. Mine didn't snap but it has the potential as it's not that strong.

Just go for it, value for money and genuine, worked like a wand on my Flymo

Opened my lawnmower fixed the problem

Brilliant
I have little strength but my neighbour got the corroded bolt off the mower easily with this. I thought the plastic wasn't strong and would break but it certainly did the job! I think I may have lost already got it a week ago but it cheap enough to get another one.
