I am an amputee and get ulcers behind my knee. These are a lifesaver! Expensive when you use them as often as I do, though…that part sucks.

Love these bandages. I bought none stick bandages from the store that totally stuck to the wound. Had to sit in the tub for 45 minutes soaking the bandage off. I purchased these bandages and totally no sticking to the wound. It’s like a moist jelly that sticks on but doesn’t stick to the cut. Comes off easy. Heals good. Good protection. Good quality. The only downside is the package only comes with 4 bandages. I thought that was a little cheap. I was thinking at least 6 bandages if not 10. 4 in a package wasn’t enough to get us through the week. Especially if you need a good week an a half to heal a good skinner.

I used these Spenco 2nd Skin burn pads when my wife had a cooking burn, and they worked really well. The pads are soothing, help protect the skin, and promote healing. Definitely a helpful product to have on hand for minor burns.

Every so often when cooking I touch something and accidently burn myself. I know it’s bad when I feel the extreme pain and see a blister start right away. I have tried many different techniques over the years but this is my system that works the best stopping pain and stopping blisters and scarring. Wash and clean area. Cut out a piece of 2nd skin slightly larger than burn area. Use bandaid or medical tape over it. And then I ice it. I’ve multiple times during day and switch 2nd skin after shower or after a day. Use for a couple days. My husband ordered another company’s copy of this and I tried it since it looked easier to use since it was attached to a bandaid. I could tell it wasn’t working from the pain I was feeling and when I looked blisters were appearing so I quickly ditched that and went back to 2nd skin. I just ordered another container, I don’t want to run out and not have it on hand.

I burned my forearm on the oven wall. In the past I would just suffer through, keeping the burn as clean as possible and covering it loosely with a band aid if needed. This time I ordered these burn patches. I’ve never used one before, and I was surprised how nice the cooling gel felt. Since the pad doesn’t have any adhesive and the burn was in an inconvenient location (there is never a convenient location but some are worse than others) I put a transparent film dressing over it to keep the wound clean. I was able to shower and go about my business every day without harming the burn further while it healed. I would highly recommend buying these and keeping them in you first aid kit!
