Excellent kit, Excellent customer service!
I don't normally leave reviews, but this deserves one. I first placed an order for a different lighting kit, which I later decided to go for this one instead. They canceled my order with no problems whatsoever. My new kit arrived within 3 days and I was able to track it to within 30 minutes of its arrival! I have never used a lighting kit before, yet I was shooting with it straight out of the box and getting great results. All of the equipment is of a very high standard and very easy to use. I especially like being able to control the lighting direct from my camera. Some people found setting up the softboxes a little tricky. Yes, so did I. But once I realized that putting the rod into the material first and then into the speed ring, it was a doddle. I will certainly be shopping with PIXAPRO again.

2 faults on day one
Purchased the PIXAPRO® LUMI200 Gemini GS200 Twin Kit 400Ws. It appeared to be a good deal, but arrived with one of the flash stand leg tightening screws in a state where it could not be tightened.To add to the problems the softbox assembly was not straight forward and required strong hand pressure to assemble. It is comprised of a speed ring and flexible rods, that were required to flex to make the assembly. The short of it was that it broke while trying to assemble it. The instructions were poor, so I may have been doing it incorrectly. For me this amounted to two product failures on day one and that was too many. I returned it.Tests of the flash and remote trigger had gone well. As I could not see a product that matched the flash and trigger; did further research and found that Pixapro was rebadging a Godox product. I have now purchased one 400w Godox flash ,trigger and will decide if I am to purchase another. I am not sure if the elements of the kit come from Pixapro or Godox, but have decided not to purchase another kit just in case.Pixapro refunded with out question, paid for the return P&P and apologised. I suspect if their quality control and instructions had been better, the return may not have been necessary. A link to a YouTube video would have been the ticket for the instructions.I suspect that I will miss the wheeled case for the lights, but can not accept failing products.

Very impressive kit!
I bought this kit at the photography show after being able to try it out. I am seriously impressed with the quality of everything. The carrying case has wheels and is a bonus. Everything fits in the case including the stands and softboxes. Light heads have metal casing.Took everything out of the case, put together, plugged in triggers and transmitter and it worked perfectly first time. Very little delay between shots. I hardly noticed any to be honest. Not the lightest weight kit and I wouldn't recommend it if you aim to use public transport. .. but if it's in the car and off it's perfect. The softboxes are great quality and quite large at 60 x 90 cm. Not the easiest things to put up but it gets easier once you've done it a couple of times. I may get easy assemble softboxes in the future if I travel with it much. This kit has a 2 year warranty as well. Personally I'm delighted.
