These hold fast!
I met the guy who invented these clamps several decades ago at a wholesaler's show. I bought a hand full of them and used them on tarps to cover firewood and loose dirt/ mulch piles. They are still working great. It wasn't until I recently found them on Amazon that I got more. Before this, I used three other makes of clamps on my swimming pool cover that didn't work. These couldn't hold onto the cover. I attached the EasyKlip's to my bubble wrap thermal cover and tie them off on a spool to roll up the cover. They work PERFECT! They hold firmly to the cover. The Klips that I've been using for 25 years on my tarps have never let go. My tarps have ripped and shredded in high winds but the Klips have always hung in there. These are the best! Period!

Poor modded product from the manufacturer
Excellent return support. First received units exactly as advertised. Second and third units were inferior to the original product. Ordered a pack of 4 received one then got four as a replacement but they were loose and not as well manufactured as the original. Returns were easy but never resolved the problem or identified what went wrong.

The best, but use tools
These are the best, strongest holding tarp clips I've ever used. However, I believe they were designed to use tools to install and remove. I use channelock pliers to install them. There is a thick ridge on one side and an opening on the other where the pliers will fit, then compress completely. To remove, there are 2 small ridges on each side of the clip just below the thick ridge you use to install them. Put a screwdriver in between these two and twist while pressing the center to unlock. These clips have good surface area, sharp teeth facing in the opposite direction of removal and the sliding side is smooth to allowing maximum tightness. It's the best design in my opinion.

Strong, quick solution for where you need a grommet
Strong, quick to deploy, highly effective. Curiously hard to find out here. Ideal. 4 stars only because releasing it is not as easy as using an inserted coin might appear, at least in use on my boat cover. So, I advise be sure you put it where you want it to stay.

Small,functional, quality.
Finally a tarp clip that works..the harder it pulls the more it holds!

Very light but with a strong hold!
I got these to hold down tarps while camping, and for holding up fabric wall and window decorations without harming the fabric. They are tough but gentle and do not harm the tarps or even the most delicate fabric. Also, these grip so firmly that I was really concerned that I wouldn't be able to get them off! I was wrong! Just use a quarter and twist at the middle point and they very easily come right off when you need them to.

Missing parts
I only go three clips when there should be four. What kind of BS is that?

Prefer Tekton clips for my purposes due to ease of installation
I bought a set of these EasyKlip tarp clips, as well as a set of the Tekton 6268. I am using them to help hold my couch covers in place on my living room couches. For my purposes, the Tekton ones are much easier to attach/remove to/from the couch covers since they have a screw-down knob. The EasyKlip latch is very difficult to open up when I want to remove them from the couch cover since you have to press down on a piece of plastic in the center and try to slide it open at the same time. It gets jammed so tight that it's hard to open. Once installed, they both stay attached equally well. So I ended up buying a second set of Tektons, and not using the EasyKlips. I could see where maybe the EasyKlip would be more useful for an outdoor application where there is a lot of pressure applied to the clip, but that's just not my situation so I prefer the ease of attachment of the Tekton.
