A very strong vocabulary building tool
Reasonable pricing, excellent references covering current and contemporary idioms. Worth a buyer.

A good dictionary of idioms but please don't expect for every idiom to be found in it.
This is a very good dictionary of idioms but please don't put your expectations too high. It doesn't contain too many idioms. Still it is a good choice. I purchased it for rupees 278. Pros- 1. The paper which is used is of extremely good quality. 2. Printing is also nice. Clarity in every word. 3. It is printed in color. 4. Font size is also quite big. 5. Searching a word is also easy. You will not find any issue in searching for the right word. 6. Correct and precise explanation of the idioms is given. You will get the nuanced view of the idioms. 7. Usage of idioms in the sentences is also provided. That makes the idioms more clear. 8. Wherever needed, diagrams are also used to explain the idiom. Cons- 1. I have searched for many idioms and could not find many of them in this dictionary. So this dictionary also doesn't contain a substantial amount of idioms. Even if you want to use it for competitive examinations, you will not get many of the idioms in it. Final comment- Cambridge dictionary of idioms is better than Oxford idioms dictionary. It is one of the best dictionaries of idioms available in the market. So you don't have much choice in this regard. You can go for it but please don't keep your expectations too high.

Best of its kind!
The reason why I bought Cambridge Idioms is because of two things. 1 I love to learn Idioms & phrases 2. I have Cambridge's phrasal verbs which is an excellent one and I have to consider its influence. The major plus point is the way Cambridge present it. It's easy to read and It could be a reason why the new Oxford Idioms follows the same style that Cambridge have. The book provides an etymology on certain words, but if you really want to get the etymology of most words, then I would suggest Oxford, which includes the etymology of more words than Cambridge. Another thing is that towards the end of this book there are some exercises which are very helpful and they also put some idioms under categories like daily life, traveling etc. To sum up, this book is an excellent one, but since new idioms and phrases are coming in it's better to buy the latest edition.

Not Satisfied with the Courier Services
Product looks okay, but got serious damage in one corner maybe because of callous handling at courier centres.
