Joby GP3 GorillaPod SLR Zoom Flexible Compact Tripod, 3 kg Weight Capacity + BH1 Ball Head with Bubble Level

Bought this before a trip after researching for many months. Wanted to buy a tripod but travelling with one is not a good idea esp with family. Plus tripods are banned in many international destinations and attractions. So went for this instead. After using it for couple of trips i must say = this is an amazing innovation. I managed to use this quickly in beaches, zoo, ruins, trees, boats and what not!. Build quality is superb and sturdy. For a casual photographer, this is the best travel companion along with my 24mm. You could even used it as a DLSR selfie stick! (with timer of course)

I had heard a lot about Gorrillapod Flexible Tripod, which increased my curiosity to try it out!The tripod is build very strongly! I must say that it will last for ages and my kids will be able to use it.It made from high end material. The ball head is smooth to operate.With Gorrillapod, I was able to take some awesome timelapses.I have hooked it to terraces, railings, trees, vehicles etc. And, everytime, my camera was safe.The only con that I found is that it little heavy to carry everywhere. Along with the camera, it become little heavy. (on self shooting mode)Overall the tripod just rocks. You can also give a try to one step lower version, "Original gorrilapod", which is smaller and lighter.Thanks to Amazon for timely delivery.

This is an essential for your vlogging gear. If you want to record yourself in the camera or if you want to record time-lapse videos, it will serve as a savior. In my opinion, a photography enthusiast should have at least one of the various Joby Gorillapods, based on his needs. What made me choose this over Joby Gorrilapod Focus is the quick release option which is very convenient. Overall, it's a great product but it's kinda overpriced.

Great design & cocept by Jobby. You can use it in any situation & on any surface, also on a branch of a tree or a pole or any thing. It really hangs on such thing like a real Gorilla..!!. I bought for my DSLR , with loading capacity of 3 Kg, as I like to photograph from unusual angles, and this is perfect for it. It comes with a ball head so you can change from landscape to portrait . My personal advise to any body who is planning to buy Gorilla pod..." Buy a gorilla pod with higher load capacity...so....you can use it with mobile phone, handycam, and also a DSLR. Foe mobile phone you need to buy a separate holder which costs only 150 to 200 ruppes"

I was really sad after opening the package as the box was already open and the stock is of 2015. Secondly it did have scratches on it .. will review the product and update more later .. So far not good..

Amazing product. Strong really well thought. The MRP on the box was 5800 and got it for 2k... so could not be happier ;)It is quite big so i also use it as a rig to shoot and with very little practice my shots really improved, great to stabilise.

Wow! What can I say? This is an incredible little thing. Sturdy, reliable, useful, compact, super portable and flexible to use almost anywhere. I have used this to take pictures of products, outdoors, used it at really weird angles and this guy doesn't cease to amaze. This is a must have for your photography kit, specially when you want to travel light and a tripod is a must.

There's a gorilla in my camera bag and that stabilizes my images beautifully! This GorillaPod is extremely handy in situations where you cannot use a standard tripod, like on the wooden fence, or near a beach if you want to get low angle shots. The legs are very well made and extremely flexible making it an easy to use tripod. The ball head is very smooth to operate. I was apprehensive initially looking at the high cost, but I am very happy I made the purchase and use it for my travel now.Well done Joby!
