The Most Powerful Searchlight You Can Hold In Your Hand & GREAT Battery Life.
I am somewhat addicted to flashlights. It started longer ago than I care to remember when Surefire came out with their first powerful, rechargeable light, and ever since I've continued looking for the latest/greatest tech in new and powerful flashlights. When I saw the high 11000 lumen output claims for this light I was pretty skeptical...I was sure that no handheld product running off three relatively small rechargeable batteries could produce that amount of light...and if it did it could not last for more than just a few minutes. I bought it to find out, and I found out I was wrong. This light is INCREDIBLE!This unit is a Trustfire 9XT6 that ships with three Trustfire 26650 (Flame) Li-ion batteries rated at 3.7 volts and a capacity of 5000 mAh. Included in the package is a Trustfire recharger that handles two batteries at a time. The batteries are the diameter of a standard "C" size battery and just shy of an inch longer.I charged the batteries the day it arrived (it came from China a LOT earlier that I expected) and tried it out that night. I have no way of measuring lumens, but I used a digital volt meter to check each battery before I turned on the light. All three registered slightly over 4.1 volts. My understanding is that these batteries cannot be discharged below 2.7 volts. Once that limit is exceeded the company claims the battery will not recharge. I did not exceed that limit. When I fired it up that night I realized the 11000 claim was, in my opinion, at least close to true...the brightest light with the widest coverage I have ever held in my hand. A true handheld searchlight. The light had not center "hot spot", but rather flooded a broad area with an intense white light unequaled by any other flashlight I have ever owned, including my $400+ Surefire that burns through CR123 batteries like they are free.I left the light on for exactly 30 minutes...the head became almost too hot to touch and the output diminished only slightly. After cooling down I checked all three batteries and they all registered just slightly under 4 volts...I was stunned.I went through the process again, 30 minutes solid run time, cool down period, and rechecked the batteries. Voltage on all well over 3.9, with light output still extremely strong. Fearing a sudden drop off in voltage I went to 15 minute run intervals and checked the batteries after every cool down cycle. In total the light ran for 150 minutes before the batteries fell into the 2.8 volt range. My best guess is light output dropped by about half by the end of the test, but still a lot of light after a long run.All in all, I've never seen a flashlight perform that well for that long. The batteries took between 5 to 6 hours to recharge, but when they did they all registered over 4.1 volts. I repeated the test the next night and got the same results. After a recharge I left the batteries in the light for a week without turning it on, and they lost on charge whatsoever. The light has several operational modes, but comes with no instructions. The modes can be changed when the light is on by slightly pressing the on/off tailcap button. It cycles from full bright, to dimmer, to dimmer, to full bright strobe, to full bright S.O.S., then back to full bright. Whatever mode the light is in when you turn if off, is the mode it "wakes up" in when you turn it back on. Instructions would have been nice. The build quality of the unit is very good, in fact, much better than I had expected. Not the same construction quality as Surefire, but close, for a LOT less money, with FANTASTIC light output and AMAZING run time. The price/value ratio makes this Trustfire flashlight from China a real winner and a best buy in my opinion.

I have your hundred percent certain that this is actually ...
I have your hundred percent certain that this is actually 11000 lumens, however it is insanely bright and can light up a massive area. If you downsides are the bulkiness, however it can be shortened into a smaller flashlight, but that comes with downsides as well you lose lumens in the process, and the flashlight overheats quickly causing it to shut off.

Disappointing product.
Purchased this product because a friend asked me to get one for him for work related duties and well i needed a flashlight to go turtle watching and camping out. Reading the specifications he printed describing the features I decided to buy one too. Pity I didnt believe the poor reviews. Instead I read the specifications and believed......fool me once shame on me. It won't happen again. Ended up with torchlight with no focus. Give off some bright light but you can't make out anything because it all seem disoriented. My friend doesn't even use his one for work . He uses a 20 lumens instead......lol. and I end up making another purchase of a Smith and Wesson 13 LED. Now we both have useless flashlight that cost us approximately US $100 each. Another lesson that size doesn't matter. Definitely won't recommend this product even its to look for monsters under the bed.

Not as good as it looks on paper
Costs so much more than http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006QQUJ1M/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00and does not perform as well !!!It was shipped in generic packaging, (which would have been OK for a $40 item) and the charger was attached with Scotch tape that was wrapped around it - NOT WHAT I EXPECTED FOR THE PRICE.I regret purchasing this item - Not everything that costs more is worth more.

Is China your next door???
Ordered on Jan 16, 2013 with ePath, delivered at 3:15Pm, Jan 18, 2013 by DHL. OK, poor small yellow DHL which rarely seen in the states. I tracked the shipping, all the way from Shenzen, China, then Hongkong, then US in less than 3 days.Product is as good as expected, bright and solid, wonder why we should pay 2 or 3 times more just for Brand, not sure if they were made from the same factory, but after 30 years "open door policy" adopted in China, quality is becoming better and better. Ok, we all know all APPLE products are made in China. I have 12 APPLE products including 4 computers, no complaint. These workers may left APPLE network and work for other factories, so you can say APPLE helped training Chinese workers, and there are tons of Western led factories in China. So I am not surprised by its quality. This 9X is a good companion to my coast HP550, which is more center focused, this one has wider beam, not sure if it is 11000lm, but brighter than HP550 which is 1000LM, but the throw is closer, maybe 200m I guess. It is quite decent for the money I spent.Packaging is good, make sure your scissors is sharp. One note for the future buyers, they just raised the price by $7!Had I ordered it separately from different sellers (light, battery, charger), I wouldn't get them all within 3 days. So, China is your next door neighbor, Ok, with the help of DHL.

I was pleased with the Securitylng LED 9X 11000Lm
I was pleased with the Securitylng LED 9X 11000Lm, and wanted to buy another. I bought the TrustFire LED 9X 11000Lmthinking it was the same light. Was I wrong, It is so very much brighter, I thought I been sent the wrong light. TrustFire just makes a brighter 11000Lm light.

It would be much better to spend the extra $40 and get the stream-light ...
These flashlights break down after 6 months. Although the metal casing in rugged, the electronics are cheap. It would be much better to spend the extra $40 and get the stream-light than these pos's.
