The box is really good quality plastic , degreaser does a great job paired with the drivetrain brush and loam foam is super for getting grime and dirt out of little nooks and cranny’s. Overall really recommend great product

Great kit, the degreaser is insanely good, and probably the poshest bog style brush I have used! Love the box, good quality Wham.

The kit box is genuinely solid & can fit a chain cleaner & more along with the original gear. I can sit on this box and it does not flex. The aluminium handle is particularly nice but note that the hinge etc is plastic. Still feels very rugged though so that should not put you off. I was also pleased to see that the box was made of 100% recycled plastic. All the kit components are nice. Great to see wood being used for the brush handles rather than plastic and they look and feel good too. All the cleaning solutions and brushes do what they are supposed to do… clean the bike! So I have no idea if peatys stuff is better or worse than other brands. What i do know is once i have used up all the peatys cleaning solutions I can always replace with cheaper ones and still have a great all in one box to stash them in. There is loads of extra space inside the box even with all the original kit inside including a removable parts tray which i have stuffed with extra gear. I have added a parks tool chain cleaner set CG2.4 to the box which is a chain cleaner, bottle of solvent and a chain brush. I have also added some additional Peaty’s various chain lubes and various chain tools. This box and kit is expensive (I got it in a sale bringing it down to circa £60, i would not pay £80 for it, OTT) but I am personally very happy with it. Especially as i can stash most of my other bike cleaning gear into it so it’s all kept in one neat in one place. If you have the cash and want the time saving and tidy space convenience, this could be just right for you.
