So to start It’s 100% grass-fed, gluten-free, and free of artificial sweeteners, which aligns perfectly with clean eating goals. The transparency of the third-party testing is a huge plus!! Plus you can easily access the lab results online. The chocolate flavor has a mild, natural taste thanks to organic cacao, but it might seem slightly bitter to some, personally I always add it in a shake with frozen fruit and it tastes bomb to me ! While it mixes well in smoothies or milk, it can clump a little in plain water so just a heads up there. At around $1.50–$1.90 per serving, it’s not the cheapest, especially compared to the unflavored version, but the clean ingredients and high protein content make it worth considering for anyone who values quality over cost.

Drink it everyday. Long handled scoop included makes it a chinch to measure. Delicious, dissolves instantly and gives a smooth creamy texture when blended. Low sugar content makes it a winner.

Wow, finally found a clean protein powder with no artificial sweeteners! This really tastes delicious and blends well with water or milk. I have been looking for this type of product in stores a few years ago when my 85 year old father in law needed to take in more protein, but couldn’t find any. Now my father needs to do the same and I came across this awesome product. I tried it first and can’t believe it’s so good that I purchased more for myself! My dad loves it as well. It really tastes like chocolate milk, smooth and no chalky taste! I would definitely recommend to others!

This chocolate protein powder is so good! I usually put it in my oatmeal or smoothies. It is not super sweet at all! So if you want something sweeter I would go for something else. But, if you want something more subtle without artificial sweeteners or too much added sugar this is for you!

Best quality protein. Mixability is top-notch. No aftertaste and no artificial sweeteners. Would highly recommend if anyone is looking for high-quality protein. Side note: It’s not sweet like we have on the other proteins out there because they use monk fruit and coconut sugar.

I bought this product (from this same product page, although the container was white instead of black) about a year ago and I really enjoyed it. It wasn't necessarily the best bang-for-your-buck nutrition wise; there were 25 g of protein for 155 calories, with 8 g of sugar. However, i really enjoyed that protein powder; when mixed with vanilla almond milk, it tasted like a malt milkshake that i found to be really delicious and i really looked forward to it after my workout. I also really like that it has no artificial sweeteners, since i have a sensitivity to them. But now, they've gone and changed the formula to where it has 31 g of protein for basically the same amount of calories, and whatever they did to it just does not taste good. It's chalky, doesn't mix well, and has just a weird bitter taste when mixed with the same vanilla almond milk. I'm having a really hard time getting through this container because I just don't like it and I'd rather eat something that tastes good and as such feels more worth the calories (with the almond milk, the protein shake is almost 300 calories). So it feels like a major waste of money, and I really regret repurchasing a full size without checking to see if it was the same thing.

I have purchased around 30lbs of the promix chocolate over the last 2 years. My most recent order from Amazon had me really scratching my head. The easy mixability that I was used to for the last 2 years was replaced with a surface layer of lumpy whey, leaving my cup looking like a septic tank. The flavor also changed considerably. More bland and definitely not as good to my taste buds. (Note this promix used to have a better flavor than some of the sacharine-sweet tasting 'cheaper' wheys but sadly it's somewhere in between now). I was sure there was something off with the first bag that I opened a second. Then when it was exactly the same, I reached out to the company directly. I was assured via by a support rep that the product had not been modified and the formula was the same, but they don't guarantee anything sold through Amazon. Well, fine, I decided maybe I got a bad batch or some knock off. I ordered direct from Promix another 5lbs. I inspected the packaging carefully and opened it up, expecting or hoping that it would be like my prior orders. Unfortunately, that is not the case. The direct order WHey from promix is exactly like my recent amazon shipment. It's not the end of the world, but I will definitely be looking for a different whey when I run out of the 10lbs of poorly mixing, lumpy, bland whey that Promix is claiming is unchanged in its formulation. Wish I had better news for anyone with similar expectations or experience with their older product.

My wants for my protein powder were: 1) Whey Isolate 2) Grass fed 3) No artificial sweeteners (this one can be difficult to find) Promix was one of the few options that met these requirements and it had a good value for the macros it provides. I just placed my fourth 5-lb order. Both chocolate and vanilla flavors are mild, natural tasting, and easy to drink. If you like more intense, sweet flavors you might not love the taste of Promix. But for me, it is just fine.
