I was looking though my old Amazon buys and I had to give this item some love. It's been over 5 years & I have had zero issues with these clippers & I hardly clean and oil them. Easily the best clippers I have ever owned and I would HIGHLY recommend them!

Great Clippers! Replacing My 16 Year Old Ones.
Great clippers! Replaces my old ones which I had for 16 years. Only replaced because the cord became frayed. I never had any complaints/problems with the old ones.

owning one is a MUST
Hello if ya'll don't know these Fast Feeds are amazing. They cut at a 000-1A ... I used them 2 weeks ago on myself and wow, they cut evenly and left me so crispy. (a good thing) My fade was legit. I did a bald fade. yup. fresh Amazon was fast and very professional. When I cut my hair the clippers didn't get hot AT ALL. When I cut my cousin's hair I noticed a lil more about the heat. These clippers don't start heating up until about 25+ minutes or so and even then they only get warm. Not too hot. Pros: Light in hand, arm doesn't get tired as fast. They are quiet and powerful. They can cut through both wet and dry hair. I thought I needed two of them but I cancelled one seeing as to how much of a quality clipper this is. MADE IN THE USA BABY! The only cons I have about these bad boys They don't come with a full set of attachments but you can always get those purple Andis magnetic guards.. Conclusion: I love these clippers. They are of high quality. ***Update 12/27/2015 - I have been using these on myself and on my friends to develop my skills. Some 400-500 hair cuts later, they still work great. I use these for precision blending, fading out to higher levels of cutting. Great tool. Only needed one after all. I have been using them for years and they only heat up if you don't lube em up right. I use Andis Cool Care spray while they're on to let the oil work itself in. I use em for like 30-45 minutes sometimes and then they start to warm up. If you're looking for a clipper to take out the bulk in a salon setting, use a different one. These can do it but I associate them with blending. I went a little crazy and bought two of these, two of the Limited Edition Chrome ones, and I just bought the Oster Topaz Fast Feeds... Next is going to be the black Oster Speed Line and blue Fast Feeds.

Good, but not Great..
I really like the clippers and I wish I could give a max 5 star rating; however, I have experienced a few negatives along the way. I have been using the clippers consistently about twice/three times a month (active duty military so they get used a lot) for the past year and there a few things to point out. Ergonomics: The clipper feels perfect in your hand and is easy to use. The cord does get in the way especially when cutting the back of your head, but that’s a very small gripe. Overall the clippers feels fantastic in the hand and isn’t heavy. Blade: I never used the original blade and purchased the andis ceramic blade instead. I can’t speak of the quality, but be aware that the original blade is not a true 0/skin when the lever is fully closed. There is about a good 1/4 inch when fully closed with the original blade, hence why I chose the andis ceramic. The included guards are absolute trash so buy the andis guards purple. The original guards broke after the first use so invest in a nice guard set. The andis purple magnetic guards fit perfectly on the fast feeds so happy with them. Durability: This is where I have to knock Oster. The clipper cuts great, but they get clogged very easy and you constantly have to brush off the blade repeatedly. I lubricate the clipper after every use and I still find that the clipper gets clogged/jammed with hairs. I am still able to complete my haircut, but it’s just an added annoyance that I am brushing away the blade constantly. Quietness: I don’t know what a quiet clipper sounds like, but my particular fast feeds do NOT sound quiet at all. They get louder when hair gets jammed and even with a consistent oiling Schedule there is a decently overall Loud humming sound when the clipper is on. I will say that it’s quieter than the classic 76s since the motors are different, but aside from that I don’t consider them quiet by any means. Overall: I give the clipper 3.8-4/5. *One thing to note is I’m not sure if the clipper is brand new or refurbished. I hope it is, but the body of the clipper definitely did not have a new finish to it and almost looked refurbished or something. I would still buy it again, but just be mindful before considering.

Punto a mejorar. A mi me gustó mucho la máquina.

Used for the first time today with much anticipation. I was impressed. Doesn't quite cut right down to the scalp on 0 setting as well as my Wahl's, however it is very very minimal difference, but the way they cut is so much better. Feel like it is made really well. Cutting blade didn't snag, pull or struggle once and that was even with cutting 3 weeks hair growth. Glad I paid the extra for these as they cut really well.

***My review down below was when we first purchased the clipper. Its been ten months since we had it now and it is fantastic!*** We are a family of seven, with four males. We use clippers quite often in our household. As you can imagine, any set of clippers would get a very good work out in our house. We have used Conair brands for a longtime. They function ok for the price. However when our six year old Conair (which is heavy - made it feel like a quality product, powerful and noisy) was giving us problems we bought another brand by Emerson. All I will say you get what you pay for! So we looked for another Conair and could not find one that had the same quality. I googled best clippers and came across this Oster 76023. The reviews of it were glowing. I also remember that many barbers I went to, when I was younger used Oster brand. I figured it must be quality. So through Amazon.ca I ordered one. When we received it I opened up the box to get a feel of it. It felt "heavy" not cheap and plasticky. And by heavy I also mean quality. It felt natural in my hands. When I plugged it in and started it up I was expecting it be loud. However, this unit is extremely quiet when compared to other clippers. In my mind I thought it was another cheap one. Boy was I wrong. I immediately began to cut my 17 year olds hair. Now his hair was about an 1 1/2" long. This clipper had no problem cutting it, even though the longest comb that comes with it is 1/2". I then cut my 13 year olds hair which was a lot shorter and no issue. No pulling the hair either. I then cut mine. It cut it very well. I am totally impressed by this clipper. Three back to back hair cuts and no issues. I highly recommend this clipper. The only downfall is that it does not come with longer combs than 1/2", but that is how Oster sells it. An added bonus which won me over even more, is that this clipper says "MADE IN THE USA". To me "Made in USA or Made in Canada" means quality.

Expensive but worth it. After years of using well known domestic clippers I have at last found quality in Oster. Cut better, quicker, and cleaner.

Cuts well. On my second one. My first broke a tooth and now it yanks hair. The tooth broke /bent in a fall. Otherwise first one still worked well.
