I have been using this for a while then got a standard toilet top unit for travel. It was a necessary evil. The toilet top model is just like sitting on a toilet only you get a little cheek in the water. If sitting on a toilet hurts, then why would you want a sitz bath that feels just like a toilet - only less roomy because it has to fit inside the seat??? A sitz bath is not a bidet, it’s about relaxing all those pelvic floor muscles in hot water. That means you need to get all those muscles into the water for a soak. That’s why this is better. Unless you’re traveling or have mobility issues. I’m small & athletic by any standard, around 120lbs. This is so roomy, it’s like a little bathtub in the shower. I love it! It has feet to allow water to run underneath so it doesn’t block the drain. It has a curved edge to grab to drain or move it. There is also a plug in the bottom but, it’s hard to open it when your backside is on it! Considerations with this or similar products: 1) This slides on my penny tile - which is fun, unless you don’t want it to. Consider putting a towel under it 2) People with mobility issues will have trouble getting in & out. It’s basically a deep squat or a roll & dismount. Consider if you need bars or assistance. If you have very limited mobility, you might want the dreaded toilet top model.

This is a great sitz bath. I have used it daily for a month and half now. It is sturdy and has a good depth so you can have more warm/hot water in the bath.

I wish I found this two years ago! I recently had surgery and this has been a lifesaver for sitz bath. I’ve tried other things that were not even close to comfortable as this is. The size is perfect for me, if even a little oversized. For reference I’m 5’6 and 140lbs. The easy empty tab makes it easy for draining.

This is for my wife. Great quality, easy to clean, and worth the money. At first, I thought it was too shallow, but it’s actually perfect for a sitz bath.

This will not fit over a standard toilet. I gave it to someone to bath their dog in!
