I cannot recommend this product enough!!! My 16 month old has been suffering with quite bad eczema patches on her back and arms recently and within a week of using this after her baths (which I also put natural colloidal oats in) it’s 99% cleared!!! It’s definitely worth the money. I don’t normally write reviews but I just had to as I’m so pleased with the results and knowing it’s organic and natural with no nasties!

Irritates the skin a little and pretty solid cream rather than the whipped picture.

Dermatologists will tell you "sure, beef tallow is fine, but modern skin care is SO much better, why would you use such a primitive thing? Science has solved it for us." Well, unfortunately science NEVER helped me, and I tried so many things from medications to supplements to creams to clensers and toners and systems. I've bleached more towels by accident than I care to count anymore, and I had to stop wearing makeup all together because it just made everything worse. In fact, the less I mess with my face at all, the better it does. I was down to just water, and nothing else. My face wasn't perfect, but it was better than other methods. That said, I can't find a single grass fed beef product willing to back up the claim that it's loaded with vitamins. Not 1 label with the courage to say how much, food or beauty. That's concerning to me. It's probably true what they say about it containing the wrong acids to properly hydrate your skin. And yes, it is really off putting knowing you could eat something you are putting on your face. You will absolutely have a moment your first time. However, I've also tried plant based fats as "natural" products. The results are disappointingly similar to the "science backed and well researched ones." I'd like to point out that the Dermatologists saying "tallow is OK but not the best trust affordable science instead", never mention a single brand to try instead, or advocate for finding stuff that has similar isolated ingredients in tallow, and dont seem to be aware how time consuming and expensive high quality science backed skin care can get. Not even a "I like this one." Perhaps there are simply too many science backed skin care products that work; spoiled for choice I guess, but they don't work for me, and honestly they all have similar ingredients no matter how hard you look. It's aggregious how many have alcohol in them even though they say never put alcohol on your skin. I made huge changed in my diet and skin care this year based around a single principle of avoiding synthetics as much as possible. That means synthetic vitamins that they load science backed products with as well. There is a difference between synthetic vitamins and naturally occuring ones, just as there is a difference between plant fats and animal fats, and natural sources, so long as they arent overly processed, appear to have ingredients that just work together. One ingredient thats bad for you in isolation reacts completely differently in the prescence of another. That lead me to trying beef tallow. I tried to find pure, grass fed beef tallow that was geared specifically for skin, but was frustrated by my search. While this is herbal infused and contains some plant fat, I have to admit it is the least irritating stuff I have ever put on my face. I can't claim it's hyper moisturizing. I don't get that same "ahhhh" feeling temporarily offered by synthetics and plant fats after application. But what I do get is just NORMAL skin. It feels heavy for a few minutes while it absorbs, but once it has, you're left with just normal skin. No tightness. No irritation. No increase in face oils or shinny tight skin (because tallow apparently mimics our own sebum, no need to produce more of the same). No urge to apply more product. By my experience there is nothing I've used that can balance like this, and nothing that is so simple and fast. I'm sure the difficulty in beef tallow, if you find it's for you, is finding grass fed from a reliable company. There is probably, like everything in the natural skincare/healthcare world, huge swings in quality - you have to learn how to buy it. And yes, I find it really irritating that everyone says "loaded with fat soluable vitamins and fats," but no product is willing to expand on that claim on their packaging, this included though I wouldnt expect that from a beauty product necessarily. It objectively just works for me, and this company really seems to care about quality and consistency. Science and plants just dont work for me. I don't even like handmade plant based soap (the smell of castile soap honestly makes me nauseous). My lard based soap I got for Christmas even cleans my bathtub better than harsh chemical cleaners and doesnt leave soap scum! I can't wait to get tallow soap. This tallow, no doubt, is great stuff, and I will be buying again.

I have eczema, this product helped a little, along with using gloves after applying. I really like that it’s unscented so it doesn’t sting at all despite it being herbal, I warmed it up by putting it in my pocket (the cold weather made it harden but seller includes instructions on how to soften the product, thank you!) and it has a good soft consistency. I do feel though that I have to keep reapplying constantly in order for my skin to not feel dry under the gloves so the price point for the amount IS expensive; it’s lasted me about a week and a half. My skin does look less red from the eczema after using this but it’s just not viable for me to have this as my only moisturizer. If you can afford it and your skin isn’t the type that needs constant reapplication then it’s not a bad product for the size. If your skin needs more hydration than you’ll go through this very quickly and the size for the price might not be worth it.

I’ve had eczema and what they said rosacea my entire life, store creams and prescriptions exacerbated the issue. I was given a sample of this tallow cream and it truly is remarkable, leaves my skin soft and glowing and helped my skins texture and redness. On my second jar now because a little goes a long way and just bought a second for my daughter. Tallow is the best skin product out there and this is has proven it!!
