12 Piece Plain Round Cookie/Pastry Cutter Set Heavy Duty Commercial Grade 18/8 304 Stainless Steel - Metal Marked Size - Perfect for Cooking Enthusiast

I originally bought this set to make scones for an afternoon tea, but I liked the idea of having a full range of sizes that could also be used later for tart cases, biscuits and other baking. The cutters come in a small metal storage tin which I really like. It keeps everything neat and contained, which is much better than my usual pile of assorted cutters sitting in an old tupperware box. The tin feels reasonably sturdy and makes them easy to store in a cupboard. Each cutter has the size engraved on the side, which is a nice touch and makes it easy to find the one you need. The only slight downside is that because they’re nested tightly in the tin, it can sometimes take a moment to pull out the exact cutter you want without bringing a couple of others out with it. Not a big issue, just something I noticed. Performance-wise they worked really well. I used the 58 mm cutter for scones and it cut cleanly through the dough with no sticking at all. The fluted edge gives that classic finish and the scones turned out great. They also washed up easily after use. Although I only used one size for the scones, the wider range is definitely useful. I can see the larger cutters being handy for pastry tart cases, and the smaller ones would work nicely for biscuits or shortbread rounds. They’d probably work for dumplings too, although I haven’t tried that yet. Overall I think this is good value for the number of cutters you get. If you only ever need one specific size then it might make more sense to buy a single cutter, but if you do a range of baking it’s handy to have the different sizes available. They’re not professional-grade tools, but for everyday home baking they do the job very well.

After a while of having lost interest in cooking or baking (I have acquired sewing interests and spend as much time doing that as possible!) , I am now trying to get together some quality kitchenware to help regain my interests - may sound sad but having had over 40 years of being a homemaker, I am past the 'just buy cheap stuff' as this will not help me maintain my interests - I can now bake because I want to, not because I have to or expected to and this means I want nice things to use and set of cutters certainly helps with that! When I was browsing for pastry cutters, these caught my eye straight away - actually, the tin initially as I found it attractive and looks like a lovely lozenge tin - now having it, it feels like one too and I love the fact that I can keep all the cutters tidy in one place and store them easily in my now dedicated baking cupboard area - previously I have had loose, cheap cutters - not any longer now I am trying to regain my baking skills and interests. These are great quality and feel lovely in the hand - I am looking forward to using them and will update once I do but for now they sit with pride in my cupboard for a few days until I get my baking ingredients :) Great looking set and a great price too - I have the Commercial 12-piece set which has a great variety of sizes and each one has very clearly marked measurements. Definitely recommended.

i am really pleased with these and so handy that they come in a lovely tin that will keep them all together. I don't think they do feel particularly sturdy, though I know there are other reviews that say otherwise. I had just thrown away my old ones that have lasted for nearly forty years, so perhaps my expectations are a bit high! I think it is a really good product, and I know I will enjoy using them.

these are Sharp and sturdy.I like that they come in storage tin which keeps them all together.they make a cute little package and they work wonderfully.

A lovely set of circular cutters - I use them for fondant shapes as well as baking scones. They are very versatile, easy to clean and I like the case they come in which makes them easy to store.

I like that it has the sizes printed on the outside. Helpful.
