Fun to build and great kit
Right off the bat- This is a great intermediate kit to move from building basic balsa models to graduating to something more complex. I'd reccomend this is a good gift ages 15+. Read the instructions very carefully before attempting to start construction. Better still, do look up other videos on youtube to understand the process. I pinned the instructions on a softboard and laid over butter paper and then started construction right off the plans.The guillows laser cut quality is great. You do need to be careful to cut out the parts though. A sharp pen kinfe and thin pins are reccomended to construct the model. I used Fevi Kwik as a glue, but in hindsight, balsa glue would have been better as its not as fast as Fevi Kwik in bonding and sticking your fingers together. This specific model has a kink in the wing design which you need to handle delicately.The decals were good to cover the wings. Using butter paper to cover the wings with a coat of dope/white-glue water mix would probably have provided a better result, but would have been much more complex.All in all a great kit to get introduced to aero-modelling.
