4-in-1 Electric Vegetable Chopper

I received this chopper for free through Amazon Vine in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. This is a hefty slicer designed to bulk chop and slice directly into any bowl placed underneath. It has a 200W DC (not AC) motor for extra power, and a 13A fused UK plug with correct electrical and earth wiring. There’s also a safety pin so the chopper can’t be operated when open. The opening for placing fruit and veg is very large and could fit a hand, so I took extra precautions when using this kitchen appliance. It comes with a range of attachments, including chopping discs and dicing blades. The middle section can be lifted for swapping to discs, and when removed the blade can be freely rotated to change dicing options. There’s no storage for the additional equipment included. A 13mm spanner is listed in the parts list, which I didn’t receive; it’s not essential for normal operation but would be needed to undo the reverse-threaded nut for the blade if you wanted to service it. A Phillips screwdriver is also required for changing blades on the chopping discs. I found the chopping discs did discolour slightly when cleaned in a dishwasher. There’s no mention in the manual of whether any parts are dishwasher safe, so I used my own judgement. Its biggest failing is a very poor user manual. It doesn’t explain or show any diagrams of how things fit together, so I had to take pictures myself to know the correct positioning of various nuts and washers when unbolting the main blade. The manual also shows a picture of a single-bladed plastic food-pushing arm, but the one I received was a double one. The reverse-threaded nut isn’t explained well either. The most confusing omission was that the blade mechanism can simply be lifted out for changing options – something you’d expect to be documented. All in all, I found the machine to be quite labour-intensive but efficient once running. It tends to chop mainly by gravity, so the dicing and slicing options aren’t always precise. It also has lots of nooks and crannies, so cleaning isn’t as simple as the manufacturer suggests. Put simply, this is a high-volume slicer/dicer for batch cooking or a small commercial kitchen. It contains very few plastic parts, which gives it a robust feel and suggests it may last a long time. Its chopping isn’t very precise, and cleaning isn’t as simple as it could be, but it is effective and, while specialised, can be recommended.

Fantastic. This is a game changer for my meal prepping. Reduces the work on the hands, and it's faster than what you would be able to dice. Very good quality components, I like how everything comes apart easily and I haven't seen a device that is so easy to clean. This one is very good at it. Also seems easy to replace and maintain different components like the blade and sharpness. Cuts very well, dices vegetables into the consistency I want... I highly recommend it! Made cooking food much more enjoyable

Machine is not working

I would rate this no stars if I could. I ment to return it but unfortunately I missed the cut of. To change between sizes you have to unscrew disc That are very easy to lose. It doesn't do a great job cutting. I WOULD NOT BUY IT!
