Rechargeable and easy to change hooks with the little wrench which is also cute. It also gives you to options of light strength first click is the strongest second click is lighter and third click is off so you can use at any time anyway you want it. Very Nice Kit for the Price
I was hesitant to buy this set as it was about half the price of other lighted crochet hook sets but I decided to take a chance on it and I'm glad I did. It turned out to be much nicer than a set I bought a few years ago that used batteries. The battery finally died, on my favorite hook, and I couldn't get new batteries to go back into the battery slots which is how I came to be looking for a new lighted set.While the set came with items I already had, after a half-century of crocheting, they are nice for people who don't have the items. I'm sure I'll eventually use many of the items at some point. The main thing is the crochet hook set.There is a variety of interchangeable crochet heads--2.5mm, 3mm, 3.5mm, 4mm, 4.5mm, 5mm, 5.5mm, 6mm and 6.5mm. It comes with one head installed which will probably require a regular plier or wrench to get off as it is on pretty tight. A plastic wrench is included but I found it easier to just use my own pliers with a longer handle. But once the initial head is off, the set's wrench worked fine.My set came with the battery already charged which means the battery will last for awhile even if the light isn't used all the time. Recharge time is supposed to be only 15 minutes for about 9 hours of use.The light has two strengths which is a nice feature as I doubt I'll ever need the strongest setting which is pretty bright. The light is easy to turn off and on even with my arthritic hands.The handle is different, from what I'm used to, but I'm sure I'll get used to it fairly quickly. I made a hat, to try out the new hook, and it took about the usual amount of time to complete the hat as the hook slid in and out of the stitches easily. I didn't have any trouble with it splitting yarn or catching on it.The hook handle is well made. The interchangeable hooks, while plastic, should last as long as the crochet hook isn't dropped on some hard surface like cement.I am very pleased with the new hook set. The accessories aren't top-of-the-line but they are decent and useable. If you need light, when crocheting, this is a great set to get.

It seems like it will work out good for me when I travel I won't have to worry about it I grabbed scissors, the right size hook or anything... I'm impressed . It especially helps with having a light as I have a difficult time with seeing the stitches even if I'm near a good light

Great but hooks don't grab yarn well.
This is great charges fast. Great light, would be very helpful for seeing in dark or with dark yarns. The hooks don't have very deep hook and struggles to hold on to the yarn. But overall still worth the buy!

Very bright but hooks are not cut deep enough
Over all these aren’t bad hooks, they were a well thought out product! Holding them is more comfortable than a standard metal hook, but I have more comfortable ones. The hook on these is the most frustrating part because they are not very deep and so the yarn slips off pretty easily. Hopefully they evaluate the depth and adjust. Over all I would recommend but would advise to consider how you like your hooks to be.

Easy to see black yarn, easy to crochet with. Can crochet the dark without waking my husband up and that is a win in my book.

Awesome lighted crochet hook kit
Awesome crochet hook kit. You can plug these in to the USB port for lighting while using if the charge runs down, but the charge lasts a good while. Very comfortable to use, and works well with any weight of yarn. The bonus is there are multiple sizes of hooks so you can change to what you need for any project. Also comes with some other bonuses, round markers, tapestry needles, ect.
