I have put this product inside a outside plastic box to protect it from the weather. The only holes what is on the outside plastic box is, power cable going in (back), power cable to light (bottom). This is running my outdoor back garden flood light ( mainly used for when the dogs go out ). My back garden flood light has direct power & I have a light that has a sensor on it but when the dogs are a little to far away from it of course it powers down. OK, really not for the dogs they can see a little better than me but safes me stood outside waving my arms around but also if I walk down the garden I can take the key fob with me & if the light goes off I can easily switch it back on again . So I decided to install this. Press the Key Fob from inside my conservatory (key fob to light - 20ft away) works every time. If the light goes off (senor timer) I just switch it off and back on again. The plastic box isn't that thick so at night i can see a little green light to let me me know that it is powered on by the remote switch. It was so easy to install & if you need to read any instructions for the install they come with it. You get two key fobs, I only use the one for now but if that battery dies or goes faulty I have a back up. Better than rewiring for a switch to be fitted to the light. Great product & with also having to buy a outside protector for it was not a lot of money. I would recommend this product, It's doing a great job.

The range on this is unbelievable. I can easily stand at the back of the house indoors and turn something off 100 meters away outdoors through all those walls. Very easy to wire up if you have even minimal d.i.y skills. I think its good value for money, and functions even better than the instructions state. Very happy with it.

I'm using this with external LED floods. I wanted remote switching rather than PIRs. Perfect.

Brilliant bit of kit, you put the light on when you want and switch it off when you want ,none of that annoying on off you get with a sensor, one moan the batteries were flat in one of the fobs.

I bought two of these to control some outside lights. I was keen to ensure that the range was good as the housings are weatherproof plastic boxes on the other side of solid walls. I needn't have worried - the range is excellent and the remotes easily switch the units from inside the house. I also wanted to control both switches with any of the 4 remotes (2 remote controls are supplied for each switch). The remotes came already paired to each unit (ie the remotes for switch A only controlled switch A, and remotes B only controlled switch B). However, pairing a new control is extremely easy - it took about 30 seconds to pair remotes A to switch B and vice versa. So, now any of the 4 remotes will operate both switches. This also means we can leave a switches in each of our cars and turn the outside lights on as we arrive home. All-in-all, I am very happy with these.

It works well with great range and through walls.

Only had a day but easy to install, I fitted inside outbuilding and it worked first time fobs already setup and have good range though stone walls .I will probably install in box as contacts only just covered and earth on separate block, but hopefully will last some time

Just what i needed easy to set up and use just the job .
